INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB)

1. The Government of Islamic Republic of Pakistan has applied for credit from the International Development Association in various currencies towards the cost of Sindh Agricultural Growth Project. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for Procurement of IT Equipments. 2. The Government of Sindh through Project Director, PMU of Sindh Agricultural Growth Project, Agriculture Department now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of the following equipments Lap Top (28 Nos.), Desktop Computer (18 Nos.), Multimedia Projector (15 Nos.), Printers / Scanners / Photocopier (4 Nos.), Laser Printer (8 Nos.), Photocopier (4 Nos.), Heavy Duty Photocopier / Scanner / Printer (2 Nos.), Scanner (4 Nos.), UPS (10 Nos.), Networking Setup (1 No.), Software /Wifi etc. (4 Nos.). 3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the office of Project Director, PMU of Sindh Agricultural Growth Project, Agriculture Department, Government of Sindh, Ground Floor, Tughlaque House, Sindh Secretariat Building No. 2, Shahrah-e-Kamal Ataturk, Karachi, Tel: 021-99211543 Fax: 021-99211805. 4. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission a written application to the above and upon payment of a non-fundable fee of Pak Rs. 2,000/- through demand Draft/Pay Order in the name of Project Director, Sindh Agricultural Growth Project. 5. The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provision of the World Bank Standard Bidding Documents: Procurement of Goods for National Competitive Bidding, Pakistan, Part One. 6. Bids must be delivered to the above office on 20th February, 2014 at 12:00 Noon. 7. Bids will be opened in the presence of biddersi representatives who choose to attend at 12:00 noon on 17th February, 2014 in the office of Project Director, PMU on above address. 8. The bidders are requested to give their best and final prices as no negotiations are expected. 9. All bidders shall be required to submit with their bid, information on their eligibility and qualification as per the Bid Data Sheet included in the bidding document.
