TERMS AND CONDITIONS: 1. Earnest money shall be deposited in shape of "Deposit at Call" @ 2% of the Estimated Cost from any branch of the Bank of Khyber in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in the name of the undersigned and be attached with application in original. The submitted "Deposit at Call" of the bidders will be processed for retention/release through treasury. 2. Bidding documents will be issued on payment of Rs.1000/- plus cost of Tender Form on the Govt. notified rates (non refundable) to the intending bidders. 3. Bidding documents shall be issued to the original contractors/firms or their / his authorized agent (through a stamped paper of value R.30 on the production of original or attested copies of Registration/Enlistment, fee receipt, renewal fee receipt for the year 2013-14 and valid license from the PEC in the relevant category. 4. The successful contractors/firms who quote rate below on the BOQ cost shall be required to submit Bank Guarantee / Deposit at Call from any branch of the Bank of Khyber in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, for an amount equal to the difference between estimated cost and the tendered cost, within 03 working days of evaluation of the bid. In case of failure their / his already deposited 2% earnest money shall be forfeited in favour of Govt. The Evaluation and acceptance of bid or otherwise will be governed by Govt. policy/rules 5. The firms/contractors are required to quote their/his total bid cost both, in "figures and words" in the Bid Form of the Bidding Documents. 6. The bidders shall quote their rates on item rate basis in appropriate' sealed envelopes. Tenders/bids received unsealed shall be rejected. 7. All taxes etc shall be deducted from the bill of the contractors/firms: at prescribed rates notified by the Govt. from time to time. 8. Pre bid meeting will be held with intending contractors/bidders on 15-01-2014, 20-01-2014 & 21-01-2014 at 11.00 AM in the office of the undei signed. 9. The tenders will be opened on 16-01-2014, 21-01-2014 & 22-01-2014 at 2:00 p.m in the presence .of Tender Committee and contractors/firms their authorized representatives, who care to be present. 10. Any other information can be obtained from the office of the undersigned on any working day before submission of the bids.
