Qadirabad Barrage Division Pakistan Tender Notice

Sealed tenders based on item rates (MRS) are hereby invited for the works mentioned below, from the approved contractors of Irrigation department.

CONDITIONS.
1. The tenders will be received in the office of the undersigned on 13-01-2014 at 1.00 pm Noon on the date of opening of tenders and will be opened immediately thereafter by the tender opening committee in the presence of intending contractors or their representative duly authorized who Care present. 2. Tenders can be purchased up to 11-01-2014 during the office hours on payment of usual tender fee (non refundable). 3. Only one set of tender documents shall be soled to any Contractor / Authorized Representative for his own Firm and he will not be allowed to purchase tender documents of any other Contractor/ Firm. 4. Earnest money as noted against each work in the form of deposit at call in the favour of Executive Engineer Qadirabad Barrage Division drawn from any scheduled bank should accompany the tenders. 5. The tender documents will be issued on submission of attested copies of renewal / enlistment N.I.0 and Govt. Receipt as a proof of deposit of renewal / enlistment fee for the current financial year 2013-2014. 6. The work will be got done / executed strictly in accordance with departmental specification and under the supervision of Sub Divisional Officer concerned. 7. Tendered rates and amounts should be filled in figures as well as in words and tender should be signed as per general directions given in the tender document. 8. The competent authority reserve the right to accept / reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason thereof. 9. Condition / Incomplete tenders will be rejected. 10. The payment will be made after clearance by TPM monitoring /Consultant Faisalabad. II. Other details and drawing of the works Can be seen in the office of the undersigned on any working day. 12. The issuance of acceptance letter will be subject to production of work schedule prepared activity wise acceptance to the Executive Engineer indulge and formal approval of the same. 13. The progress of closure work will required lobe repotted twice a week on the agreed days of the week. 14. In case the progress lags by more that 25% the work can be spilt and the lagging component might be awarded to any other contractor willing to execute the work on the same rates. 15. The quantities of under water works may very and before execution of work a joint survey will be required by the department and contractor. 16. Acceptance will be issued subject to the availability of finds. 17. To ensure quality control, the total material be used on the work is to be procured in full quantity prior to commencement of work from a registered company with a branded name like (ICI, Burger etc) with a granted quality assurance meeting the specifications, and consumption is to be watched under a joint control.
18. As per Government of the Punjab, Finance Department, Notification No.RO(Tech) ED 1-2183 (VI) (P), dated Lahore the 6th April 2005, in case the total tendered amount is less than 5 per cent of the approved estimated (DN1T) amount, the lowest bidder will have to deposit an additional performance security from a scheduled bank equal to the tendered amount below estimate cost before issuance of acceptance letter.
19. In case of any holiday on the fix date, the tender process will be done on the next working day.
