CHIEF MINISTER PUNJAB COLLEGES FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Government of the Punjab, Higher Education Department, Lahore, invites applications from eligible college teachers of Higher Education Department for award of approximately 30 scholarships for one year Masters Degree Program for Fall Session 2014-15. List of international universities where the candidates may apply for admission is placed a Higher Education Department website at the following address:

EligibilityCreteria:- The applicant must fulfill the following conditions:- a.Be an employee of the Higher Education Department (Teaching Cadre only). b. Holds a Master Degree or has completed 16 years of ecducation. c.Maximum age limit is 45 years on December 31st, 2013. d.Has at least 7 years of service (including contract period) in Higher Education Department on December 31st,2013. e.Has firs divison throughout his / her academic career. following Candidates are not eligible:- a. An employee facing enquiry under PEEDA Act. b. Has already completed Master Degree from foreign university. c.Candidates availing any other scholarship for Fall Session 2014-15 are not eligible. 3. Preference will be given to those cadidates who are able to secure partial financial assistance / funding. In case of full funding by a University, air travel to and from the destination shall be provided by Higher Education on need basis. Only those candidates will be considered for funding who will get admission in the identified International universities / institutes. Candidates who fulfill the eligible criteria are advised to get admission only in one year Masters's Degree Program which has a direct relevence with their subject. 4. Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria can apply directly to the specified university without waiting for any clearance from the Higher Education Department (HED). Once granted admission, candidates must inform HED immediately. Final selection of the applicants will be made through competitive process, based on academic record of the applicant and GAT -General score. Acceptance by the university is not a guarantee for final selection. GAT-General for calendar year 2012 and 2013 shall be traeted as valid. Candidates must avail first availble opportunity to appear for GAT-General, if they do no already have valid GAT score. 5.
