Modification in the Distribution Licence of Ibrahim Fibres Limited (IFL)
The Authority under Section 15 of the Regulation of Generation, Transmission and Distribution of Electric Power Act 1997 (hereafter called "the NEPRA Act") had granted a Distribution Licence (No. 171DL12008, dated July 22, 2008) to IFL, for its distribution facilities located at 38-KM Faisalabad Sheikhupura Road, Faisalabad, Punjab. (2). IFL pursuant to Regulation 10 of NEPRA Licensing (Application and Modification Procedure) Regulations 1999 (the "Regulation"), communicated a Licensee Proposed Modification (LPM) to the Authority, seeking modification in its above mentioned Distribution Licence. In accordance with Regulation 10 (4) of the Regulations, all stakeholders, interested/affected persons and the general public were informed about the communicated LPM through a public notice, appearing in the newspapers of January 30, 2013. (3). Based on the received comments of the stakeholders and other submitted information/evidences, the Authority has now approved the communicated LPM of the Licensee without any changes. In accordance with the provisions of the Regulation 10 (17) of the Regulations, all stakeholders, interested/affected persons and the general public are hereby informed about the decision of the Authority to approve the communicated LPM. A brief of the communicated/approved modifications in the Distribution Licence of the Licensee is described as under:-
