INVITATION FOR PROPOSALS
FOR PROVIDING CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR PREPARATION OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR SELECTION OF SPONSOR BASED ON COMPETITIVE TARIFF FOR SOLICITED SITE OF 120MW TAUNSA HYDROPOWER PROJECT AND REVIEW OF FEASIBILITY STUDY
I. Punjab Power Development Board (PPDB), under Energy Department Government of the Punjab provides one window facility to private sponsors for the development of power generation projects in the province of the Punjab. PPDB intends to establish 120NIW Taunsa Hydropower project in IPP mode on BOOT model. Feasibility Study of the Taunsa HPP is available. PPDB, under the provisions of the Punjab Power Generation policy 2006 (Revised 2009) intends to select sponsor on competitive tariff.
2. Now PPDB invite proposals from the Consulting Firms to provide consultancy services for preparation of Request for Proposal (RFP) by reviewing/updating a preliminary draft RFP as well as the Feasibility Study of the project available with the Department.
3. This invitation is open to entities based in Pakistan who are registered with PEC.
4. The entitiesipersons are required to send detailed technical proposals and financial proposals in separate sealed envelopes, enclosed in the same sealed outer package. Eligibility Requirement is given in the RFP and only Technical Proposals of shortlisted consulting firms shall be evaluated.
