PRE-QUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTORS FOR PILOT PROJECTS.
WASA, LDA, Lahore intently° Construct Drainage System, Sewer System and Disposal Station under Pilot Project. For this purpose, applications for prequalification are invited from the approved contractor with HUD & PHED in Class-A for the financial year 2013-14 with Pakistan Engineering Council renewed for 2014 and having vast experience in the respective field. The application should reach the office of the undersigned not later than 19-02-2014. Prequalification documents may be obtained from the office of undersigned of any working day on payment of Rs.500.00 (non-refundable) The scope of work is as under:-
S.0 Description Project Cost 1. Package-I 690.00 Million Drainage System from Lakshami Chowk to Cantonment Drain 2. Package-II 141.68 Million Sewer System from Tikka Chowk to Shad-e-wal chowk lobar Town 3. Package-Ill 143.88 Million , Sewer System Poach Road Mehmood road and adjoining areas at samanabad. 4. Packafe-N 50.67 Million Sewer System at Timber Market and Construction of Disposal Station Forest Colony Ravi Town 5. Package-I/ 68.43 Million Sewer System for L-Block Gulberg-M.
The firms applying for pre-qualification should submit detailed information inter alia the following. I. Detail of the fimi I consortium. 2. Detail of equipment, machinery owned with date of manufacture and capacities that will be available for execution of work. 3. Bio-date of senior staff having experience of similar works who would be directly involved in the project at site. 4. List of similar contracts executed during the Iasi 5 years and those in hand at present with owner's / client's Acceptance letters and certificate — of — Satisfaction. Full detail of the contracts should be given including the names of the clients. Engineer responsible for supervision of the work. Reason for the incomplete or left over work, if any, shall be given. S. Detail of other engineering works executed during last 5 years. 6. Detail of any litigation or arbitration outstanding. 7. Financial soundness of the firm / Consortia confirming their capability to handle such projects supported with balance sheet-duly certified by a firm of chartered accountants. 8. An affidavit that the company has not been black listed by any Federal or Provisional Government Department or Agency of Pakistan. 9. Copy of the Contractor's registration with Pakistan Engineering Council. 10. The above mentioned information shall be filly supported with authenticated necessary documents.
