CORRIGENDUM Extension of Deadlines Expression of interest
Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Intercity Buses and Terminal Project (Bus Operations & Infrastructure Refurbishment) Reference to the advertisement published in Local Press including the Daily Dawn, Business Recorder, Daily Jung and Kawish News on 31st of December 2014 and International Press, The Gulf News on 10th of January 2014 pertaining to Expression of Interest for Pre-qualification. The deadline for submission of Pre-qualification documents has been extended, which was previously on later than 11:00pm on 25th February 2014. REVISED DATE Last date for submission of Pre-qualification documents 11:00pm on 20th March 2014 The Project  The scope shall cover a total of 5 routes starting from Karachi city to the major cities of Sindh province namely Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Sukkur, Nawabshah, Larkana. In addition to the operation of bus services in these routes, the concessionaire will be expected to renovate/construct Bus terminals at the proposed destinations. Brief Scope of Work The detailed scope of work to implement the project shall be provided at the RFP stage. However, briefly, firm(s) shall be expected to perform, among other things, the following tasks: a) Finance and procure bus fleet (including standby buses as per provided specifications). b) Maintain and operate bus fleet, bus depot. c) Provide related staff for the Bus Operation Services. d) Carry out detailed design of the Bus terminals in consultation with GoS. e) Carry out construction of the infrastructure and related facilities. f) Hand over the Bus Terminals / Depots to the Contracting Authority at the end of the Concession period.

The deadline for submission of Pre-qualification documents has been extended, which was previously no later than 0200pm on 25th February 2014. REVISED DATE Last date for submission of Pre-qualification documents 02:00pm on 20th March 2014
The Project  BRTS "Yel low Line" is a 26 Km route (approx.) starting from Dawood Chowrangi to Numaish Chowrangi & Regal Chowk via 8000 Road, Korangi Road and FTC. Mass Transit Cell (MTCell), Transport and Mass Transit Department wants to prequalify potential firms/consortia for the implementation of the Project. The Pre-qualified bidders will be issued detailed Request For Proposal ("RFP"). Project Structure  The detailed scope of work to implement the project shall be provided at the RFP stage. The project is being procured as three separate contracts for the major components of the project namely: • Infrastructure Development • Bus Operations • Revenue Collection & ITS System • The captioned components of the Project are being bided out independently. However, Prospective Bidders are welcome to participate in more than one category of the above three components.
