NOTICE INVITING TENDER
SMU invites sealed bids / tenders f rom all the interested contractor/bidders under SPPRA Rules 2010 amended up to late (single stage two envelope procedure for the following works. S. NO. NAME OF WORKS
2 (i) Addition and alternation of Boys Hostel Block-3 i/c water supply and sanitary fittings in bathroom (Time allowed for completion 3 months) ii) Construction of Additional Floor 4th floor of existing building (with light weight structure) at Jinnah Sindh Medical University Karachi i/o (Title for completion water supply sanitary fitting/drainage and electrical works). Construction of Girls Hostel in the premises of Existing hostel building in the premises of existing hostel building on Plot No. 43/C, PECHS, Block 6, Karachi i/o water supply sanitary fitting and electrical work / completion 12 months iv) Replace of existing drainage line of JSMU Building.
1. Tender fees 3000/-. 2. The intending participants can submit their applications along with the below listed documents/requirements for the purpose of issuance of bidding documents of each work separately during office hours up to 07-02-2014 till 22-02-2014. No bidding document will be provided without the payment of cost of bidding document which shall be in the shape of Pay Order or Demand Draft M favor of Vice Chancellor, Jinnah Sindh Medical University. 3. The bids will be received back on 24-02-2014 up to 11.000 and will be opened on the sarne day at 11:30 a.rn. in presence of Procurement Committee and the bidders or heir authorized representatives who wish to be present on the occasion. In Board Room of Vice Chancellor JSMU (Main Building) Ground Floor, (Sealed tender box). In case of any un scheduled disturbance the tender will be opened on next working day at 11.30 a.m. Note: The drawings and specifications of the works will be provided with tender documents. Eligibility/Criteria Conditions: i) Registration with Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category or above discipline keeping in view the bid costs. ill For electrical work valid license issued from inspectorate of Electrical License Sindh of the similar region with respect of works, shown above. iii) Documentary evidence of work executed in last 3 years and Certificate of satisfactory completion showing date of start and completion from one employer. iv) List of work and copy of letter of award of work/work orders of equivalent cost or above. Completion of similar works. v) Registration with Income Tax Department (NTN Copy) having active tax payer. vi) Undertaking on stamp paper that He is not involved in any litigation, Department rift, abandoned or unnecessary delay in completion of any work in the Government Department. vii) Affidavit to the effect that firm has not been blacklisted previously by any executing agency. viii) Affidavit to the effect that all documents / particulars / inforrnation furnished are true and correct. ix) Procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all the tenders M accordance with SPPRA Rules 2010 (Amended date). x) Conditional Tenders will not be entertained. xi) Advertisement can be seen on Sindh Government website (www.sindh.gov.pk) and SPPRA website. xii) Registration with GOT/ORB (Photo Copies).
