Highway Division Kasur Sealed tenders based on item rates are hereby invited, for the works mentioned below from the contractors / enlisted/Renewed with C 8c W Department, Chief Engineer Punjab /Executive District Officer Works & Services Department Kasur in the field of Road works for the year 2013-2014. Tender documents can be obtained from the office of the undersigned, as well as from Executive District Officer, Works & Services Department, Kasur office against written request accompanied with attested copies of enlistment up to date renewal letter and fee receipt. Pakistan Engineering Council License, authority letter on letter pad of contractor/firm Identity Card of Contractor' Managing Partner of the firm along with registered power of attorney, earnest money in shape of deposit at call from scheduled bark and on payment of prescribed tender fee in the form of CDR/Bank Draft/Cashier's Cheque of any schedule bank in favour of District Officer Roads, Highway Division, Kasur. Tender rates and amounts should be filled in figures as well as in words and tenders should be signed as per general directions given in the tender documents. No Rebate on tendered rates will be acceptable. Tenders will be received in the office of the undersigned upto 1.00 P.M. on the date of opening of tenders and will be opened immediately thereafter by the tender opening Board, in the presence of intending contractors or their representatives. It is also mentioned here that any person can come and watch/ witness the tenders opening proceedings. Press reporters and do:to.' representatives are also particularly encouraged to attend and witness the tenders opening procedure. Conditional tenders and tenders not accompanied with earnest money @ 2% on the estimated cost in shape of deposit at call issued front Scheduled Bank in favour of District Officer Roads, Highway Division, Kasur and attested copy of registered partnership deed and power of attorney in case of firms will not be entertained. In case of tenders amount being less than 5% of estimated amount, the lowest bidder will have to deposit Additional Performance Security in the shape of deposit at call form any schedule bank equal to the amount difference between estimated & quoted amount within 1S-days otherwise it will be rejected. The procuring agency / Tender Board reserves the rights to reject any application. However, the authority will communicate the grounds for rejection of any application on request of applicant but is not required to justify those grounds. Tenders would be issued / provided to the contractors soon after Publishing / Advertising this Tender Notice in the Newspapers.
