I. Sealed tenders based on item rates/percentage above or below on approved estimated (DNIT) amount are hereby invited for the works mentioned below from the contractors / firms enlisted/renewed with C&W Department for the current financial year in the field of Highways/Bridges etc. works. 2. Tender documents can be obtained from the date of publication of invitation to bids in the Newspapers from any of the below mentioned offices, upon written request accompanied with attested copies of enlistment/uptodate renewal letter, PEC license, Identity card of contractor/ Managing partner/Director of the firm alongwith registered power of attorney and on payment of prescribed tender fee in the form of CDR/Bank Draft/Cashier's cheque of any scheduled bank: i) Chief Engineer North, Punjab Highway Department. 2-Lake Road, Lahore. ii) Commissioner, Lahore. iii) Superintending Engineer, Provincial Highway Circle. Road Research 8c Material Testing Institute, Research Campus. Lahore. iv) District Coordination Officer, Lahore. v) Executive Engineer, Provincial Machinery Maintenance Division, 110-Gulberg Road, Lahore. vi) Assistant Commissioner Lahore. 3. Tendered rates and amount should be tilled in figures as well as in words and tender should be signed as per general directions given in the tender documents. No rebate on tendered rates will be acceptable. 4. Tenders will be received in the offices of the Chief Engineer North, Punjab Highway Department, 2-Lake Road, Lahore and Commissioner Lahore and will be opened simultaneously on fixed date by the respective Tenders Opening Committee at the above venues in the presence of intending contractors or their representatives 8c who opt to be present. 5. Conditional tenders and tenders not accompanied with Earnest Money ® 2% of the estimated cost and 8.00 lacs as additional security in shape of CDR/Bank DrafV Cashier's cheque of any scheduled bank and attested copies of registered partnership deed and power of attorney in case of firms will not be entertained. 6. The Superintending Engineer reserves the rights of rejecting any or all the tenders/bids under the PPRA Rules 2014 clause 35.
