Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Police Department invites sealed tenders based on the NWFP Procurement of Goods, Works & Services Rules 2003 from eligible bidders / firms having previous experience as well as registered with income tax and sales tax departments for the purchase of following items for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police for the Financial Year 2013-14. Tenders be addressed to the Add!: IGP / Headquarters, Government of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Department, Peshawar. Technical proposals would be opened on 24.02.2014 at 1000 hours, in the presence of Departmental Purchase Committee and intending bid-den in CPO, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Peshawar. The delivery period would be 90 days and the samples required are noted against each.

Switches. 53 01 Sample The details of specifications/Tender documents pertaining to the above mentioned items can be obtained at a cost of Rs. 500/- (Non-Refundable per item) from the office of the AIG/Finance & Procurement, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CPO, Peshawar on the submission of application on the firm's letter head on any working day during office hours up to 24.02.2014. The offers shall be accepted only with original bidding docu-ments. Photocopies would not be accepted. TERMS & CONDITIONS: 1. Each bid shall comprise a single sealed package containing two separate envelopes as under: • Technical Proposal (Detailed specifications, make, country etc. on the firm's letter head pad along with catalogue & bidding documents for respective item). • Financial Proposal (Rate of respective item including all taxes / charges whatsoever as per following form on the firm's letter head pad along with 2% earnest money). s# Description Unit Price (PKR) Total Cost Including all duties & taxes 1. The envelopes should be marked in bold letters as "TECHNICAL PROPOSAL" and "FINANCIAL, PROPOSAL" respectively with name of item. Technical proposals will be opened on above mentioned dates at 1000 firs: while Financial Proposals shall remain (in sealed form) in the custody of Police Department and would be opened after receipt of the technical report in the presence of bidders. 3. The bidders shall submit earnest money with their financial proposals noted against each item in the shape of pay orders / banks draft of any scheduled bank in favor of the Provincial Police Officer, Govt: of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Police Department Peshawar. In ease of non-acceptance of tenders, the earnest money will be refunded after finalization of the tender. 4. In case of acceptance of tenders, the bidders shall deposit a security @ 10% of the total value of stores in the form of Call Deposit in the name of Provincial Police Officer, Govt: of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Police Department Peshawar and sign the contract agreement with Police Department. Security 8hal1 be refunded as per terms and conditions of agreement / quotation. The traffic items shall be received in Centralized Godown at Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines, Peshawar and Transport shall be received in the office of Director General PCU. No other destination shall be acceptable. Items shall be inspected physically and thereafter operationally tested at the cost of contractor in Peshawar only. Items found not according to the standard specifications, will be rejected at the cost of contractor and may also result in forfeiture of security and black listing of the firm. 6. Rates quoted would be considered only if the same are in Pak Rupees and inclusive of all taxes I duties / charges and inclusive of packing 1 freight till delivery at Central Godown, at Malik Muhammad Saad Shaheed Police Lines, Peshawar. Rates shall be valid up to 30-06-2014. 7 Quantities of the advertised items can be increased / decreased as per availability of funds. 8. The inspection committee constituted by the competent authority will inspect the supplied store. 9. Conditional tender / application will not be entertained. 10. All taxes will be deducted as per existing government policy. 11. The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason.
