IYCr SOUTH ASIA SUMMIT MEETING on VISTAS IN STRUCTURAL CHEMISTRY (April 28 - 30, 2014)
International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), H.E.J. Research Institute of Chemistry, and Dr. Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research, University of Karachi, is organizing a mega international event entitled, "IYCr South Asia Summit Meeting on Vistas in Structural Chemistry" under the auspices of UNESCO, International Union of Crystallography NCO, COMSATS and MoST during April 28 - 30, 2014. This Regional Summit is one of three global activities planned to commemorate the International Year of Crystallography, announced by the United Nations. The selection of Pakistan to be the host of one such major regional event is indeed an honor for our country. The event is a high level technical gathering of leading experts in the fields of structural chemistry and structural biology, representing all regional academies of sciences, especially Pakistan, India and China. Following aspects of structural sciences will be covered during the event: • Physics of X-Ray Diffraction Techniques • Applications of X-Ray Diffraction in Structural Chemistry • Applications of X-Ray Diffraction in Biological Sciences • Applications of X-Ray Diffraction in Material Sciences and other Disciplines Researchers and scholars from all government and private organizations are welcome to register and attend this major international symposium. The subsidized registration fee is as follows:
1. Government Organizations: Rs. 5,000 2. Private Organizations: Rs. 10,000 3. Students: Rs. 2,000
