FOR HIRING CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR THE PREPARATION OF FEASIBILITY, ENVIRONMENTAL STUDY, BIDDING DOCUMENTS, PC-I, FOR 1200MW (NET) COAL FIRED THERMAL POWER STATION AT THAR, SINDH, PAKISTAN
1. GENCO HOLDING COMPANY Limited is considering to install 1200 MW (preferably 2x660 MW (Gross)) Coal Fired Power Station at Thar based Co the local coal (preferably applying supercritical TechnologY). 2. GHCL intends to hire the services of a consulting firm for the Preparation of Feasibility, EIA Study, Bidding Documents and PC-I for the above project. C"sulting firms maY as'ciate 4. The services would be finan.d by GHCL's resources following the international guidelines so that the project is eligible for financing by any International Financial Institute. The detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) can be downloaded from the PEPCO website http://www.pepco.com.pk or can be obtained d irectly from the Office mentioned below. 5. E01 should demonstrate a sound understanding of the aforementioned objectives of the project and the ability, skills and experience of the Consultant to undertake the assignment and deliver q ual ity output. Ili. Documents to substantiate the forging of JV/Association (if any). iv. National Tax Number. v. Audited Statements of Accounts and Annual Turnover for the past three years. vi. List of the permanent professional staff along with CV's of the relevant core staff showing project wi. experience with the exact time duration for each proj.t. vii. List of similar works carried out during the last 15 years and similar works in hand (on the prescribed format). viii. A Certificate/Affidavit that the firm has not been blacklisted or debarr. by any Govern ment/Sem i-Govern ment/Autonomous/International Body. ix. Status of Litigation Arbitration by the fi rm(s) or by any member of the Joint Venture against the client(s), if any. 10. Request for Propo.ls (RFP) will only be issued to the short list. firms. 11. The E0I's shall be submitted to The General Manager (Design and Development) Thermal at the address given below, either by post or in person, on or before 24-03-2014 at 1400 hours local time. 12. GHCL will not reirnbu rse any cost or expenses incurred in connection with the preparation or delivery of the E01 or visits to any offi. or site.
