FOR HIRING CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR THE PREPARATION OF FEASIBILITY, ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES, BIDDING DOCUMENTS, PC-I. FOR THE CONVERSION OF UNIT No. 1 & 2 AT THE THERMAL POWER STATION JAMSHORO BASED ON OILIGAS TO COAL AND CONSTRUCTION OF NEW 200 MW COAL FIRED POWER STATION AT QUETTA
1. GENCO HOLDING COMPANY Limited is considering implementation of the following projects. Conversion of Units 182 1250+200 MW)at Thermal Power Station (TPS) at Jamshoro from oil/gas to coa I. Construction of New 200 MW Coal Fi. Power Projectat Quetta based on Local Coal. 2. GHCL intends to hire the services of a consulting firm for Me Preparation of Feasibilities,Tit Firmkn/ is anticipated to have an international consulting Firrn in Lead. expertise in coal-fired boiler design and operation. 7. The Pre,alification will be canied out as per the PEC Guidelines/PPRA rules. 8. Selection of the consultants will be based on GCBS method. 9. Interested firms having relevant experience should submit their EON in quadruplicate along with the following information in English language stating the background of their organization and details of professional experts to be assigned for the services regui.. i. Certificate of Registration of the firms as a Legal Entity. ii. Registration of firm with the relevant professional body i.e. Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) as a Consultant or with a professional institute of iM original country. Doaments to substantiate the forming °NV/Association (if any). iv. National Tax Number. v. Audited Statements of Accounts and Annual Turnover for the past three years. List of the permanent professional staff along with Ors of the relevant core staff showing project vase experiewe uith the exact lime duration for each project.Status of LitigationfArbitration by the firm(s) or by any member of the Joint Venture against the client(s), if any. 10. Request for Proposals (RFP) will onhy be issued to the shod fisted firms. 11. The EOrs shall be submitte.d to The General Manager (Design and Developme nt) Thermal at the address given below, either by post or in person, on or before 2443-2014 at 1400 hours local time. 12. GHCL win not reimburse any costor expenses incurred in connection with the preparation or deli, of the E01 or visits to any office or site. 13. GHCL Reserves the Right to Reject one 01 00 EOrs without assigning any reason.
