2. Interested bidders may get the bidding documents& detailed specifications of items from the cashier of office of Executive District Officer (Health) 24-Cooper Road, Lahore on submission of written request on letter head along with a copy of CNIC on payment of non-refundable fee mentioned above against each tender. 3. 02% Bid Security shall be attached with the Financial bid in the shape of Bank Guarantee or CDR from any scheduled bank otherwise tender shall be rejected. 4. Single Stage - Two Envelopes bidding procedure shall be applied. The envelopes shall be marked as "FINANCIAL PROPOSAL" AND TECHNICAL PROPOSAL" in bold and legible letters. Financial proposal of bids found technically non-responsive shall be returned un-opened to the respective bidders. 5. All the Procurements shall be governed under the Punjab Procurement Rules 2009. 6 Two years free warranty / guarantee period including replacement of parts and after sale service will be given. 7. Provision of spare parts on payment and back up support for next 10 years will be provided. 8. All kind of equipment / instrument quoted must be brand new and latest model. Firms are requested to quote only those items which meet the specifications given in the IT. 9. All accessories, support equipment including stabilizer/UPS where required and special tools for immediate and uninterrupted operation at consignee's end will be provided. 10. Sealed bids are required to be brought and dropped in person by the authorized representative of the interested bidders till 11.00 AM on 28.02.2014 positively which will be opened on the same day at 12.00 Noon in the presence of the bidders or their authorized representatives by the special purchase committee In the committee room of 0/0 EDO(H) 24-Cooper Road, Lahore. 11. All the firms / bidders shall quote rates both on C&F & F.O.R for all the imported Items without which the tender will not be accepted. However, for the locally manufactured Items, the rates shall be quoted in Pak. Rupees only. 12. The bidders are required to submit the company profiles including Technical, Engineering, Managerial capabilities. after-sales services and past experience/ performance along with their technical bids. 13. All documents should contain proper page marking, attached in sequence as indicated for evaluation in the bidding document duly signed by authorized person. Moreover, signing and stamping of each page of bidding document/form is mandatory otherwise bid shall be rejected straightaway. 14. Pre-bid conference shall be held on 24.02.2014 at 11.00 AM in the Committee Room of EDO(H), Lahore. All interested bidders are requested to submit their reservations/representations, if any, in writing by 22.02.2014.for determination by the Technical Officer! Committee. 15. The Procuring Agency however, reserves the rights to accept or reject any or all bids with or without assigning any reason and is not challengeable in any court of law.
