"BIDS for Development of ECE Rooms and Provision of Learning Resource Material in 1000 Primary Schools in 36 districts of Punjab" Directorate of Staff Development (DID), School Education Department is implementing a project titled: "Introduction of Early Childhood Education (ECE) in 1000 Primary Schools in Punjab with Highest Enrollment and Improvement of Environment of School to convert them into Child Friendly Schools (CFSs)". Under this project DID intends to develop ECE classrooms in 1000 primary schools in 36 districts of Punjab through its District Training and Support Centre (DISC) in each district Bids are invited from interested registered firms /organizations having expertise in developing ECE Class rooms and provision of learning resource material, Further details are as under: 1) Interested eligible bidders/register firms may get the number of selected schools in each distrirt and list of "Learning Resource Material" from District Training and Support Center (DISC) heads in each District on submission of written application. 2) Specifications /list of learning resource material along with District wise list of selected schools can also be seen on website  3) Sealed proposals/bids are required to be brought in person by the authorized representative of the interested bidders within 15 days of this advertisement positively, to the concerned Heads of District and Support Centers (DTSC's). Addresses of District Training & Support Centre (DTSCs) is available at website wv.v.dsd.edu.pk 4) Bids can be submitted for one district or more than one districts. For each district separate bid/ proposal has to be submitted to the DTSC Head of that district 5) The bidders are required to give their best and most competitive prices for developing ECE classroom and providing Learning Resource Materia( as per list approved. It may be clarified that under the Punjab Procurement Rules 2009, now operative, negotiation can only be held with the lowest bidder. 6) Procurement Committee sleuth distrirt comprises (i) DISC Head (Chairman), (ii) EDO (Education) of the concerned distrirt and (iii) Regional Programme Manager RPM) Rep of DSD. Procurement Committee has the right to accept or reject any or all bids ,vithout assigning any reason, 7) Procurement of learning resource material shall be governed by the Punjab Procurement Rules 2009.
B) Successful bidders shall be bound to develop ECE Classroom and provision of learning resource material within 30 days of the supply order.
