Admission of Ph.D. Programs in Bask Medical and Clinical Sciences (Session 2014-2018) Applications are invited for admission in full-time Ph.D. Program at King Edward Medical University, Lahore in Basic Medical, and Clinical Sciences (Session 2014-2018). a) ELIGIBILITY/ ADMISSION FOR PH.D. 1. The Candidates must hold M.Phil/MD/MS/FCPS/MDS or 18 years equivalent education in Medical and Dental Sciences recognized by the NEC & PM&DC. 2. The Candidates having Second Division or CGPA below 3.0 out of 4.0 in M.Phil/MS/Equivalent Education can also apply to take additional courses at M.Phil/MS level to address their deficiencies. b) STUDENT MUST PASS ONE OF THE FOLLOWING: • NTS GAT Subject Based Test with minimum cumulative score 60% (where available). Candidate must provide result within one year from date of admission i.e. 10.05.2015.
OR • GRE International with 60 percentile score (where available). OR • University Subject Based Test with minimum 70% cumulative score. c). FEE STRUCTURE • Entry Test Fee. Rs. 7,000/- • Admission form Rs. 1,000/. NOTE: All above mentioned fees will be non-refundable • Tuition fee will be charged according to Rules & Regulations of University. NOTE: Any change in Rules & Regulation of the Ph.D Prograrn along with any change in fee would be applicable to all students and there would be no discretion available to any student to tag it old or new scheme. d). B: In complete forms will not be accepted in any circurnstances. Moreover, applicant can courier their complete forms within due date to office of the Registrar, KEMU, Lahore. C.
