ADMISSION NOTICE - SPRING 2014
Applications are invited for admission to the following programs: PhD Physics PhD Persian  PhD Botany  MPhil English  PhD Zoology  MPhil Persian  PhD Agri. Entomology M.Phil Library & Info. Science  PhD Agronomy  LL.M  PhD Plant Breeding & Genetics  MPhil Education (Weekend)  PhD Plant Pathology  M.Ed (Weekend) PhD Soil Science B.Ed (Weekend) PhD Horticulture PhD Political Science Faculty of Pharmacy  PhD Sociology  M.Phil Pharmacology  PhD Arabic  M.Phil Pharmaceutics The candidates who have already applied during fall 2013 for admission to LL.M (in August! September, 2013) need not apply again.
Admission Schedule
ELIGIBILITY
PhD Programs:
Prospectus alongwith admission form can be had from Monday, February 03, 2014 on payment of Rs. 500/- from the Habib Bank Limited, University of Sargodha Branch. Prospectus alongwith admission form can also be downloaded from the University website. Applicant must attach a bank draft/pay order/postal order of Rs. 500/- with downloaded application form. Prescribed application forms duly filled in and supported by the copies of educational certificates/degrees be submitted to the Chairperson of the respective Department by 14.02.2014. Applications received after due date shall not be entertained. For further queries contact the Chairperson of relevant Department. The subject based entry test will be conducted in the respective Department on 17.02.2014 at 10:00 AM sharp. No separate intimation will be given in this regard. Note: Start of class in all disciplines will be subject to class size. Employees are required to submit NOC from their parent department
1. MPhil/MSc(Hons)/MS (18-years of education) or equivalent degree with at least first division or CGPA = 3.00 out of 4.00 2. The candidates must have qualified GRE-Subject (60% percentile score) OR GAT-Subject (60% marks) after acquisition of 18 years education. 3. HEC awardees under indigenous scheme are encouraged to apply.
LL.M / MS I MPhil / Msc Hons) Programs:
1. The candidates must have passed MA/MSc/PharmD/BS(4-year) or equivalent (16-years of education) in the relevant field or equivalent degree from HEC reco nized institution with at least second division or CGPA 2.00 out of 4.00 M.Ed Program: B.Ed with at least 45°/s m rk in raduation or equivalent qualification.
B.Ed Program:
At least 45% marks in graduation or equivalent qualification. SPL#1303
