The University of Sindh is the Oldest University of Pakistan, established in April, 1947 in order to impart quality education to the rural masses of Sindh. The University of Sindh has established its Campus at Naushahroferoze in January-2014 on demand of people of the area. The establishment of Khan Bahadur Syed Allahando Shah Sindh University Carnpus @ Naushahroferoze will facilitate increasing number of College students of Naushahroferoze who in-spite of their keen interest cannot pursue higher education in Jamshoro due to socio-economic constraints.The poverty is major problem of rural Sindh which is barrier for seeking higher education. Initially, the following three degree programs have been introduced to provide higher education opportunity to the students of Naushahroferoze and its surrounding areas.
1 Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) H.S.C. with at least 50% aggregate marks. Candidates with intermediate Arts must have offered one of the Social Science subjects as elective at H.S.C. level. 8 Semesters 4 Years 2 Master of Business Administration (MBA) Bachelor degree from recognized Institution/University with at least Second Class or equivalent GPA score in B.A, B.Sc. BE, BS, B.Corn, M.B.B.S, B.E (Agriculture), BCS., BCIT, BPA (Hons.) or equivalent degree in any discipline, are eligible to compete, if selected they will have to submit Pass or Honours Certificate/Degree before payment of fee. 4 Semesters 2 Years 3 Bachelor of Computer Science (BS(CS)) H.S.C. Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical, Commerce (Including General Science: Students who studied Mathematics as a Subject of General Science Group will be treated as Pre-Engineering while those who studies Biology will be taken as Pre-Medical), Mathematics, Physics and Commerce back ground with at least 45% aggregate marks. 8 semesters 4 Years 4 Bachelor of English (BS English) H.S.C. or equivalent with at least 45% marks 8 Semesters 4 Years I APPLICATION PROCEDURE & SCHEDULE I 1. Application forms can be obtained from M/S Habib Bank Limited. Sindh University. Old Campus. Hyderabad. Jamshoro &
Naushahroferoze Branches through bank challan by payment of Rs. 1300/- (Form Fee + Pre-Entry Test Fee) non-refundable with effect from 30-01-2014. Application Form properly filled-in alongwith necessary documents be submitted at the office of the Khan Bahadur Syed Allahando Shah Sindh University Campus at Government Madaressah & High School Naushahroferoze personally on or before 10-02-2014 and admit card/slip be obtained immediately. Pre-Entry Test will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on 13-02-2014 at Syed Allahando Shah Sindh University Campus @ Government Madaressah and High School Naushahroferoze. 4. List of selected candidates will be announced on 17-02-2014. S. Date for deposition of admission fees is with effect from 18-02-2014 to 21-02-2014. 6. The classes will be commenced with effect from 25-02-2014.
