M.Sc. Engg. (Hons)/M.Phil and Ph.D PROGRAMME SPRING SEMESTER 2013
Applications are invited for admission in the following programs on prescribed forms available on www.pus.edu.pk/dpcc 1. M.Sc. Engg.(Hons)/M.Phil: (Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Business Administration, Coal Technology, Persian, Islamic Studies) 2. Ph.D: (Chemical Engineering, Pakistan Studies, Applied Psychology, Business Administration, Clinical Psychology, Quality & Technology Management, Administrative Sciences, Sheikh Zayed Islamic Centre, Persian) Forms are available in the respective Department/Centre/Institute w.e.f. 13-01-2014. The applications complete in all respect should reach in the office of the Department/Centre/Institute concerned by 17-01-2014. The written test/interview will be held in the concerned Department/Centre/Institute according to the schedule given below:

Eligibility
For M.Sc. Engg. (Hons)/M.Phil i) M.A./M.Sc/B.Sc (Hons) 4 years, B.Sc. (Engineering) degree or its equivalent in the relevant subject from a recognized University (at least 16 years of education, 130 credit hours) as per Higher Education Commission (HEC) rules. ii) Only those candidates will be considered who have qualified GRE/NTS GAT General with minimum 50% score. For Ph.D. i. M.S/M.Phil/M.R. (Engineering/Hons) or equivalent with minimum CGPA 3.0 or first division as per HEC rules. ii. Only those candidates will be considered who have qualified GRUGAT (Subject) after acquisition of 18 years education. • Subject eligibility criteria of individual disciplines will be provided by the concerned Department/Institute/College/Centre before the admission. • HECawardees under indigenous scholarship scheme are encouraged to apply. • The admission form, M.Sc. Engg.(Hons)/M.Phil/Ph.D. regulations and prospectus can also be obtained from the respective Department/Institute/Centre. For further information, please contact the respective Department/Institute/Centre. • Prescribed application forms duly filled in and supported by the attested copies of educational certificates/degrees be submitted to the Chairman/Director/Principal of the respective Department/Institute/Centre by 17-01-2014. • Applications received after due date shall not be entertained. Application must be submitted to the relevant Department/Institute/Centre.
