NOTICE INVITING TENDER Sealed tenders for the listed works are invited from the interested contractors/firms under SPPRA Rules who meet the following qualification criteria: i. List of litigation (if any) and nature of litigation. ii. Affidavit that the firm has never been black listed. iii. In case of PEC registration, valid PEC certificate and NTN are required. The tender documents should accompany the 2% earnest money of the estimated cost mentioned in the list in the shape of pay order or call deposit from any of the scheduled Banks duly pledge to the undersigned. The method of procurement will be single envelope single stage. The bid validity will be 90 days. The estimates, drawings, design and specifications can be seen / obtained on any working day during the office hours. Blank tender documents can be obtained from the office of the undersigned on payment of cost of tender (not refundable) viz. pay order as mentioned in the listen any working day during the office hours opts Wednesday 12.02.2014. The tender forms can also be downloaded from SPPRA website (www.pprasindh.gov.pk). The same will be received back in sealed cover up to 12:00 noon on Thursday 13.02.2014 and the same will be opened on the same day at 12:30 (PM) in presence of the intending contractors or their authorized representative who may like to be present. The un-responded tenders will be issued up to Friday 28.02.2014 up to office hours and received and opened on Monday 03.03.2014 at 12:00 noon and 12:30 (PM.) respectively. Contractors are bound to quote workable rates, failing which they will be blacklisted in future tendering. The conditional tenders will not be accepted and the Procuring Agency may reject all or any bids subject to the relevant provisions of the SPPRA Rules. The successful contractors whose tenders are accepted will have to obtain adhesive stamps from Assistant Superintendent Stamps, Government of Sindh, Karachi, on payment of Stamps fees according to Schedule prescribed in the Sixth Finance Act 1996 amended rule 2003 and sign the agreement.
