TENDER NOTICE 

Punjab Workers Welfare Board, Lahore invites sealed Tenders (Technical and Financial) from eligible bidders for the supply of following Summer & Winter Uniform for the year 2013-14 for the students of Workers Welfare Schools in Punjab under Rule 36(B). "Single stage two envelope bidding procedure" of PPRA:

Bid documents containing detailed terms & conditions, specifications and tentative quantity of required Summer & Winter Uniform Items (Boys & Girls) will be issued from the office of the undersigned at Punjab Workers Welfare Board, F-NI Khyber Block, Allama lqbal Town, Lahore uptill 07.02.2014 during office hours at the payment of Rs.1000/- non refundable. 

3 All the technical and financial bids must be delivered to the office of the undersigned on or before 10:00 hours on 10.02.2014 out of them technical bids will be publicly opened in the Committee Room of Punjab Workers Welfare Board, F-A/I Khyber Block, Aflame lqbal Town, Lahore Pakistan, at 1100 hours, on same day i.e. 10.02.2014 in presence of the authorized representatives of the participating firms/companies. 

All financial bids must be accompanied by a call deposit (CDR) of two percent (2%) of total bid amount as bid security which will be sealed in presence of the representatives of the firms / companies and will be opened subject to qualification of the firms / companies as per criterion mentioned in the bid document and specifications. 

5. Tenderers/Companies shall submit tender, which comply with tender Documents. Alternative Bids will not be considered. 

6. Financial tenders of those firms / companies will be opened whose technical proposals found responsive and obtain 70% marks of the evaluation criteria as mentioned in the bid document and subject to the Lab. results of the samples of uniform items according to their technical specifications as mentioned in the tender document and according to specimen of Punjab Workers Welfare Board. 

Punjab Workers Welfare Board, Lahore will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by bidders in connection with the preparation or delivery of bids. 

The procurement of Summer & Winter Uniform Items (Boys & Girls) will be carried out in accordance with PPRA Rules 2009 (Amended).

10 A pre-bid/tender meeting will be held on 03.02.2014 at 11:00 am in the Committee Room of the Punjab Workers Welfare Board, F-A/1, Khyber Block, Allama lqbal Town, Lahore so that procedure and specifications of uniform items could be well discussed in order to procure the standardized items. 

11 Successful bidders have to furnish Performance Guarantee @ 8% (including 2% earnest money) of the contract value in the shape of CDR before the award of contract alongwith signing of Performance Security (on Stamp Paper value of Rs. 100/) as given in the bid document. Failure to supply items within the stipulated time period will invoke penalty as specified in penalty claaes of this document. In addition to that, amount of performance guarantee/bid security (CDR) will be forfeited, besides blacklisting of the company / firm. 

12 Supply of Summer & Winter Uniform Items of said tenders will be carried out in Workers Welfare Schools in Punjab mentioned in bid document.
