Executive Engineer Marala Division UCC Marala Tender Notice

TENDER NOTICE
1. Sealed tenders on the basis of MRS are Invited from the approved contractors of Irrigation department who have got their names enlisted/renewed in the appropriate category for the fiscal year 2013-14.
2. The contractors/Firms who desire to obtain blank Tender forms shall have to furnish original documents to the Executive Engineer, Marala Division UCC regarding enlistment/renewal of their names with Irrigation Department Original G.R. for payment of Professional Tax, Enlistment/Renewal fee, Renewal of Licence from Pakistan Engineering Council for the Calendar year 2013-14 etc. The Executive Engineer, Marala Division UCC/Authorized Office shall only issue the tender after verification of all the documents,
3. The blank tender form can be purchased up to 11.02.2014 during office hours from the office of the Executive Engineer, Marala Division UCC Marala on the payment of non-refundable cost mentioned against the work. No Tender form shall be sold on the date of receipt of tenders. Further the tenders will be sold only to the proprietors of the firms or his authorized agents. No firm shall be allowed to receive/purchase tender forms in the name of any other firms.
4. Earnest Money equivalent 2% of the Bid Cost in shape of Deposit at Call drawn in favour' of the Executive Engineer, Marala Division UCC, Marala from any scheduled bank must be accompanied the Tenders, failing which tender will not be entertained.
5. The tenders will be received / opened by the Tender Opening Committee on 12.02.2014  at 12:30 PM Hours in the office of the undersigned
6. The tenders must be delivered in person or by the authorized agents of intending bidders to the tender Opening Committee in sealed envelopes. No tender shall be accepted which are received by post or through other means.
7. In case of any dispute the case will be referred to the Superintending Engineer, Upper Chenab Canal Circle, Lahore whose decision will be final and binding on both the parties.
8. In pursuance of Govt: of the Punjab FO No. RO (Tech) FD 1-2/83(VI) (P) dated 24.01.2006 & No. RO(Tech): FD 1-2/83 (VIU) (P) dated:6.4.2006 if the total tendered amount is less than the approved estimate (DNIT) amount the lowest bidder will have to deposit an additional performance security from the soheduled bank from 5% to quoted below rates from the technical sanctioned amount within 15 days of issuance of notice/letter of award/acceptance of Tender Rate or within expiry period of bid whichever is earlier.
9. All the details can be seen from the office of the undersigned and all rights are reserved. 10. Letter of acceptance/awards will be issued on the availability of funds. 11. The bill of the work would be paid subject to clearance of the work by inspection team deputed by Government. 12.
