Tender Notice
Pak Telecom Mobile Limited (hereinafter referred to as "PTML") hereby invites Tenders/Quotations from eligible Tenderers for the sale of used and scrapped GSM Network and Non Network materials including;
• Radio Frequency Antennas • Power Pack Batteries • Miscellaneous Furniture and Fixtures
• Micro Wave Dishes • Miscellaneous Technical Items and Cables • Miscellaneous IT Items
The materials for sale (Sales Tax and Income Tax shall be charged over and above the offered price at the prevalent rates) at the PTML Offices is available on"as-is where-is" basis and the sale of such shall be carried out pursuant to the observance of the following terms and conditions. 1. Tender Offer documents along with their relevant details will be available from the undersigned from 0930 hrs to 1700 hrs on all business days before the deadline of 28-01-2014.
2. The said material can be examined before the deadline of 07-02-2014 from 0930 hrs to 1700 hrs.
3. The Tenders/Quotations must be delivered to the Pak Telecom Mobile Limited (PTML) Corporate Office situated at Ufone Tower, 55 C, Jinnah Avenue, Blue Area, Islamabad on or before 0902-2014 before 1700 hrs.
4. Any Tenders/Quotations reaching the aforementioned address after the said time and date shall not be accepted by PTML. The Tenderer shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of the Tender/Quotation and PTML shall not be responsible or liable for any consequences whatsoever including but not limited to any economic loss, loss of revenue or damage of any nature arising to the Tenderer or any third party involved as a result of rejection of the Tenderers/Ouotations which reach PTML after the due date or annulment of the entire tender process at the sole discretion of PTML. 5. The Tenders/Quotation most be sealed and duly marked as "Confidential" and shall also indicate the name and address of the Tenderer to enable the Tender/Quotation to be returned unopened in case it is not in compliance with the terms and conditions set forth herein and there is not authorized representative to hand it over to. 6. The Tender/Quotation must also be accompanied by an earnest money of the value equivalent to 20% of quotation amount. 7. This earnest money must be in the form of a pay order in favor of PTML, issued by any one of the banks listed below:
a. National Bank of Pakistan b. Standard Chartered Bank c. MCB Bank Limited d. United Bank Limited e. Habib Bank Limited f. Allied Bank Limited g. Bank Alfalah Limited h. Askari Bank Limited i. Bank Al Habib j. Faysal Bank k. NIB
8. The pay order of unsuccessful Tenderers will be returned within twenty one (21) business days from the opening of the Tenders/Quotations by PTML. 9. PTML reserves the right to accept or reject complete Tender/Quotation or a part of the Tender/Quotation, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Tenderer, or any obligation to inform the affected Tenderer of the reasons for the action.
10. PTML shall neither be liable nor responsible for any costs, charges, expenses or damages of any nature whatsoever arising directly, indirectly, incidentally or consequentially on account of submission and/or rejection of Tenders/Quotations. 11. All Tenders/Quotations shall be opened on 11-02-2014 at 1500 hrs. in the presence of the Tenderers or their duly authorized representatives, as the case may be. 12. PTML reserves the right to reject any or all the Tenders/Quotations or to annul the whole process without assigning any reasons. 13. All decisions of PTML in matters relating to the Tenders/Quotations shall be final, conclusive and binding upon the Tenderers and shall not be challenged by the Tenderers in any manner before any forum.
