GOVERNMENT OF SIND EDUCATION & LITERACY DEPARTMEN TENDER NOTICE
Date: 03-01-2014 IFB No.: SO(S-0/Edu.E&A/Pro-DIS(FUR)/2013-14 1. The Education 8, Literacy Department, Government of Sindh has received an allocation from the Public Fund in Pak rupees towards the cost of ADP / SNE / Budget Scheme for the year 20131114 for various Educational Institutes / Offices / Line Departments working under administrative control of Education 8, Literacy Department. H is intended that part of the proceeds of this allocated fund will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for Procurement of various store items. 2. The Education & Literacy Department now invites sealed bids on Single Stage ñ two envelope procedure from eligible bidders from original manufacturers / their authorized distributors / suppliers in Sindh, registered with lncorne Tax & Sales Tax Department for the supply of Procurement of Furniture & Fixture for various Schools/Institutes. 3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the office of Section Officer (S-1), Education & Literacy Department, 2nd Floor, Old KDA Building, Sindh Secretariat No. 3, Kama! Atta Turk Road, Karachi. 4. A complete set of Blank Tender form / bidding document may be purchased by interested bidders region wise on the submission of a written application to the above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 2000/- in shape Cash / Demand Draft or Pay Order in favor of Section Officer (S-I), Education & Literacy Department, 2nd Floor, Old KDA Building, Sindh Secretariat No. 3, Kamal Atta Turk Road, Karachi during office hours i.e. from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm up to 22-01-2014. 5. Sealed Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before 23-01-2014 at 2.00 pm and must be accompanied by a bid security of Three (3), of bid cost. 6. Bids will be opened by the purchase committee of the Department in the presence of biddersi / representatives of bidders on 23-01-20. at 2.30 pm in the Committee Room of Education & Literacy Department, 1st Floor, Tughlaq House, Sincih Secretariat No. 02, Kamal Atta Turk Road, Karachi. 7. The rates quoted should be inclusive of GST, Income Tax, etc. GST will be deducted at source as prescribed rates. Delivery of items will be made institution wise as mentioned in bidding document. 8. The bidders are requested to give their best and final prices as no negotiations are expected. 9. Hoes: Government declared / announce public holiday on the date of opening of Tender, the Tenders will be opened on the next working day. 10. Procurement Committee reserves the Right to accept or reject any or all bids prior to award of contract as per SPPRA Rules, 2010. 11.
