Tender Notice for Purchase of Literacy Kit Item Punjab Accelerated Functional Literacy Project Oen ChM Khan
Office of the Literacy and Non-Formal Basic Education Department, Dera Ghazi Khan invites sealed tenders for the purchase of different items (blackboard with stand, sewing machine, embroidery machine, sign-board, chairs. national flags, rugs, attendance register, register for regis-tration & discharge, educational committee register, visitor register. copies, bag, slates, chalks and educational charts) at Rs.4402500 for Non-Formal Basic Education Schools for current fiscal year 2013-14 by 12:00 Noon of 6-2-2014. Tenders will be received by registered post/courier service, which will be opened the same day, 6-2-14. in EDO Education/Literacy Office. Model Town road. Directorate of Colleges Building in the presence of tenderers and Purchase Committee at 2:00 PM. Tender forms along with the list of required stores can be obtained From the office of undersigned against payment of Rs.1000/- during office hours. Tender form fee will be non-refundable.
TERMS & CONDITIONS  1. Firm must be sales tax paying and registered. It will enter its sales tax registration number. 2. Overwriting/cutting of any kind will not be acceptable in the tender and tenders sent by hand will not be acceptable. Moreover, incom-plete. dubious, unsigned and conditional tenders and the tenders sans call deposit/received late will be considered rejected. 3. All the taxes will be paid by the firm as per the laws of the govern-ment. Therefore, General Sales Tax and Income Tax etc will have to be included in the rate. The invoice of Sales Tax will also have to be provided. 4. An attested copy of General Sales Tax & Income Tax registration will have to be attached with the tender. 5. The Purchase Committee reserves the right to reject any or all ten-ders without assigning any reason thereof. It decision/proceedings will not be challenged in any court of law. 6. Tenderers will have to bring the samples along at the meeting. 7. Three per cent earnest money of the total estimated cost as call deposit issued by any scheduled bank in favour of EDO Education, Dera Ghazi Khan will have to be attached. Original call deposit will have to be attached with the Financial tender while its copy with the Technical Tender. Cheque or photo copy of call deposit will not be acceptable. 8. Technical Tender and Financial Tender will have to be submitted in separate envelopes. 9. The Technical Tenders will be opened on 6-2-14 at 1:30 PM while the Financial Tender on 02:00 PM in the presence of Purchase Committee and firms/companies' representatives in the office of EDO (Education) Dera Ghazi Khan, wherein no amendment will be made. 10. The approved rates will be valid by 30-6-2014. 11. The successful tenderers will have to submit five per cent of the total cost of store in favour of EDO (Education) Dere Ghazi Khan as call deposit at the time of supply order and will have to lift all the equip-ment within the period stipulated in the supply order. Otherwise, earnest money/security will be forfeited in favour of government and the tender will be considered cancelled without issuance of notice and the firm coming second will be awarded supply order. Besides, the loss of risk purchase will have to be borne by the previous firm. 12. The quantity of equipment can be increased/decreased. 13. The successful firm will have to provide the equipment approved by the Inspection Committee within 15 days. Transportation charges for each centre will be on the firm. 14. An affidavit on Rs. 100 stamp paper to the effect that the firm is not disqualified/blacklisted by any government department or involved in any litigation will have to be submitted by the firm. 15. All the purchase will be made according to PPRA Rules 2009. The tenderer will also be bound to comply with any new condition, if it is applied. According to PPRA Rules 2009 Rule No. 36(a) tenders will be received under (Single Stage one Envelope Procedure) 16. The firm will be bound to adhere to the conditions given in the tender form apart from the ones in this tender notice. 17. The tenders, invited earlier or received by 14-11-2013, have been cancelled. Therefore, the tenders sent prior to this advertisement by the firms will also have to be sent again by them within the above-mentioned due date. 18.
