PRE-QUALIFICATION NOTICE DISTRICT OFFICER (BUILDINGS) VEHARI
Applications are invited from reputed/ specialized firms/ contractors, who are on the approved list of Punjab (C&W) Department in respec-tive category and have got their named registered and renewed with the Pakistan Engineering Council and Secretary to Government of the Punjab. Communication & Works Department in relevant catego-ry and field of specialization for the year 2013-14 for pre-qualification for tendering of following works:-

The interested firms are required to submit the following informa-tion/ documents duly page marked & indexed to the office of the undersigned as to reach by 12-02-2014 during office hours where-after no application shall be entertained. 1. Name/ Full address & partnership deed of the contractor/ firm with power of Attorney in favor of person authorized. 2. Year of establishment supported by certificate from the regis-trar of firms. 3. Name and particulars of specialist firm to be associated. 4. List of cases pending in arbitration/ litigation, if any. 5. Certificate of registration from Pakistan Engineering Council Islamabad in the relevant category & field of specialization. 6. Copy of enlistment/ renewal for the year 2013-2014 with C&W Department. 7. List of complete permanent business, management, finance management and engineering/ technical staff with their com-plete bio-data and proof of stay with the firm. List of equipment with its No. make/ model, condition and loca-tion along-with proof of its ownership. 9. Detail of similar projects completed by the contractor/ firm giv-ing location, approximate cost and time taken for completion duly supported with a certificate from the client department. 10. List of projects handled during last three years giving their location, approximate cost, time allowed/ taken dully support-ed with a certificate from client department. 11. Performance certificates from the XEN/ D.0 (Buildings) / Client under whom the work have been executed during last three years. 12. Detail of work in hand indicating name of Client Deptt. Consultant and scope of works. 13. Authentic proof of their financial position such as bank state-ment of the previous one year. 14. Total assets, working capital and liabilities duly certified. 15. Income tax registration certification. 16. Any further particulars the firm desire to furnish.
The pre-qualification application shall be evaluated on the basis of Punjab Planning & Development Department criteria for pre-qual-ification. Other related information required in this regard should also be provided. TERMS AND CONDITIONS:  17. Concealment of facts will be sufficient cause for disqualifica-tion of the firm as well as for prosecution. 18. Any information/ documents found deficient, will not be enter-tained. 19. No judicial relief will be sought against the decision of the pre-qualification committee constituted by the competent authority and the decision of Authority will be final and conclusive. 20. A certification/ undertaking is to be offered by the intending applicants that they have read the pre-qualification notice and will abide by the terms and conditions indicated in the notice with the same sprit as has been notified by the client Department. 21. Only the pre-qualified firms by the committee shall be allowed to tender for the works. The committee further reserves the right to accept/ reject any application and the decision of the committee shall not be challengeable in any forum including the court of law.
