DEVELOPMENT WORK UNDER SHORT TERM PLAN INCLUDING ROADS, WATER SUPPLY, SEWERAGE AND DRAINAGE COMPONENT - CBD (CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT, ARTS 8r CULTURE DISTRICT) AT DCK Defence Housing Authority Karachi (DHA) intends to undertake Infrastructure Development Works of CBD (Central Business District, Arts & Culture District) at DHA City Karachi. Constructors registered with PEC with relevant experience of similar works and having valid PEC licence in category CB and above with specialization code of CE-01, CE-02,CE-09 and CE-10 are eligible to apply.  Tenders are offered under Competitive Bidding Procedures on Single Stage Two Envelope basis. Tender Documents may be obtained from the office of the Project Director DCK, SC-3, 34th Street off Kh-e-Bahria, Phase-V, DHA Karachi at a cost of Rs. 10,000.00 (non refundable) payable through a pay order in favour of DNA City Karachi alongwith an application and updated copy of valid PEC Certificate. Schedule of tenders to be held in the office of Project Director DCK is as under:- o Issue of Tenders on 10 Dec 2013 onwards o Pre-Bid Meeting at 1100 hours on 17 Dec 2013 o Bid submission before 1100 hours on 26 Dec 2013 o Bid opening (Technical) at 1130 hours on 26 Dec 2013 o Opening of financial bid will be informed later to the successful constructors in technical evaluation. o Bid Security - Minimum 2% of Bid Amount The tender documents shall not be issued after pre-bid meeting. The client reserves the right in its sole discretion to reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason thereof.
