NTDCL CASA-1000 (Central Asia-South Asia Regional Energy) Project All the stakeholders, interested persons and general public are informed that National Transmission and Despatch Company (NTDC) is working on a proposal of importing electricity from Central Asian countries (Tajikistan & Kyrgyz Republic). This power dispersal will be done by constructing 500kV HVDC transmission line from Tajikistan to Peshawar and a converter station at Peshawar with the funding from World Bank and Islamic Development Bank. In this context, NTDC has prepared following Environmental and Social Safeguard documents, which are available on NTDC website ww.ntdc.compk/CASA_1000,php and NTDC office. I.
