INVITATION FOR BIDS
Office of the Principal Recipient of the Global Fund Grants under NTP invites sealed bids for "HIRING SERVICES OF CIVIL ENGINEERING FIRM(s) HAVING VAST EXPERIENCE OF ASSESSMENT, DEVELOPMENT & MONITORING UPGRADATION OF HOSPITALS AND LABORATORIES". The project includes: a. Pre-assessment & development of details site specific BOO's and drawings I documents of 12 PMDT sites (Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, Sialkot, Rahim Yar Khan, Turbat. Khuzdar, Gilgit, Mirpur (Sindh). Swat, Karachi, Faisalabad, Islamabad). b. Pre-assessment & development of details site specific BOQ's and drawings / documents of 2 BSL II Laboratory sites (Karachi. Turbat). c. Monitoring of Up-Gradation of already planned 03 BSL Ill & 10 BSL II laboratory sites, these are; Lahore, Bahawalpur, Sialkot, Rahim Yar Khan, D. I. Khan, Sukkur, Nawabshah, Muzaffarabad, Sargodha. d. Monitoring of Up-Gradation of already planned 07 PMDT Hospitals sites that are; Nawabshah, Sukkur, Lahore, D. I. Khan, Larkana, Muzaffarabad, Karachi. 2. The terms and conditions) scope of work / job(s) are mentioned in the bidding documents. The bidding document can be obtained from the Pail Unit of National TB Control Program Block-F, EPI Building, National Health Complex, Chak Shahzad, Islamabad on a written request duly supported with a copy of valid certificates of PEG. General Sales Tax and N.T.N certificates and against a cash payment / bank draft of Rs. 500/- (non-refundable). The bid documents can also be obtained through an online request on the following e-mail address PSMPR.ic@ntg.goy..pk. The bidding document will be issued up-to December 25, 2013 during office hours. 3. The sealed bids in duplicate along with earnest money @ 2`)/0 of total bid value (refundable) in the shape of Bank draft / pay order! call deposit in favor of National TB Control Program, Islamabad are required to be submitted in person or through representatives of the firms in the office of National TB Control Program upto December 2632013 at 11:30 am. sharp. The bid(s) will be opened on the same day at 12:30 p.m. in the presence of bidders! their authorized representatives. No bid(s) will be accepted / entertained after due date and time. 4. Single stage two envelope procedure of bidding is adopted. The technical & financial bids shall reach the NTP in separate envelopes. The technical bid will be considered by the technical committee & financial bid of technically qualified firms only will be opened by the departmental purchase committee 5. Bidders will have to abide by the Global Fund Code of Conduct. The copy of code of conduct is available on request from the office Of the Principal Recipient. NTP reserves the right to reject any/all bids at any time prior to the acceptance of bid as per rules.
