It is a well-established fact that socio-economic development of a country depends on its innovation systems in which academia, government, and industry are key actors and stakeholders. In order to provide a platform and initiate a dialogue among these thee stakeholders regarding the opportunities and challenges of innovation in Pakistan, international Islamic University Islamabad is organizing an international conference on innovation systems. It is expected that leading international scholars on innovation systems. representatives of leading firms and industries as well as key ministries and departments of the Government of Pakistan
