Amount & CE-09 Contract Package No. SMBBT/MIRPURKHAS/INF-003 TERMS & CONDITIONS 1. The Bidding/Tender Documents can be purchased from the Office of the Deputy Director (F&A) SMBBT, Site Office Benazir Town, Deh Mandiari, Karachi on payment of the above mentioned amount in the shape of Pay Order of any schedule bank (Non Refundable) between 9.00 AM to 1.00 PM up to 13-01-2014. The Drawing & Design can be seen in the Office of the Executive Engineer, SMBBT, Site Office Benazir Town, Deh Mandiari Karachi during working hours. 2. The Bids/Tenders should be accompanied by a Pay Order of any schedule Bank equivalent to 2% of the Quoted Amount, as Bid Security, failing which Bid/Tender will not be entertained. 3. The Bidding/Tender documents will be received in the Office of Deputy Director, SMBBT, Site Office Benazir Town, Deh Mandiari, Karachi on 16-01-2014 up to 1:00 p.m. and will be open on the same day at 3:00 p.m. by the Procurement Committee, SMBBT. In case the bids/tenders submission/opening date is declared a holiday, the same will be received / opened on the next working day in the same office at the mentioned time. 4. Bid security of a bidder will be forfeited if the successful bidder fails to submit acceptable Performance Bond and/or fails to provide Agreement papers and/or fails to sign the Agreement within the prescribed time given in the Bid/Tender Documents. In case of failure, the bidder may be disqualified from further bidding. 5. A foreign bidder is entitled to bid only in a Joint Venture with a Pakistan Firm in accordance with the relevant provisions of PEC bye-laws. 6. The work will be executed under the detailed supervision of the SMBBT consultant and all eligible payments towards executed works shall be made after verification of IPCfs / RA Bills by the consultants. 7. Bids/Tenders with any conditions shall be rejected. N.
