SHORT TENDER NOTICE
Sealed Tender based on item rates/ percentage above. or below of Prevailing Market Rate System are hereby invited for the works mentioned below from the contractors/ firms enlisted/ renewed with (C&W) Department/ District Government Bahawalnagar for the current financial year 2013- 14 in the field of Buildings Works. 1. Tender documents can be obtained from the office of undersigned against written request accom-panied with attested copies of enlistment/ upto date renewal letter and fee receipt, PEC license for the year 2013, authority letter on pad from the contractors/ firms, Identity Card of contractor/ man-aging partnership of the firm along with registered power of attorney and on payment of prescribed tender fee. 2. Tender documents should be completed and signed as per general directions for the guidance of tenderers given in the tender document. No rebate on tendered rates will he acceptable. 3. Tenders will be received in the office of undersigned up to 1:45 PM on the date of opening of ten-ders and will be opened immediately thereafter by the Distriet Tender Board in the presence of intending contractors or their authorized agents. 4. Conditional tenders or tenders not accompanied with earnest money @ 2% .of the estimated cost in the shape of deposit at call receipt from Scheduled Bank and -attested copies of registered Partnership deed and Power of Attorney in case of firms will not be entertained. 5. No tenders shall he issued to contractors/ firms whose performance on the building works in hand is not up to the mark or previously their progress was behind the schedule. 6. In case the total tendered amount is less then 5% of the approved estimated .(DN1T) amount the lowest bidder will have to deposit Additional performance security in .shape of CDR from the schedule bank which will be returned to the Lowest bidder 3 months after the date of completion of work or alongwith final bill of the work if it. is prepared after that period. 7. In case the Additional performance security is not paid by the lowest bidder within, prescribed peri-od of 15 days, his earnest money will be forfeited without any further notice. 8. Undersigned/ District Tender Board reserves the right to reject any or all of the bids on the basis of evaluation criteria in the light of PPRA Rules.
