Khyber Pakhtnnk-hwa, Police Department invites sealed tenders based on the N1ATFP Procurement of Goods, Works & Services Rules 2003 from eligible bidders / firms having previous experience as well as reg-istered with income tax and sales tax deparunents, for the purchase of following items for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police for the financial year 2013-14. Tenders be addressed to the Addl: IGP / Headquarters, Government of the Khyber Paklitunkhwa Police Department, Peshawar. Technical proposals would be opened on 13/01/2014 at 1000 hours, in the presence of Departmental Purchase Committee and intending bid-ders in conference room CPO, Peshawar. The delivery period would be 60 days and the samples required are noted against each. S# Items Quantity

The details of specifications / tender documents pertaining to the above mentioned items can be obtained at a cost of Rs. 500/- per item (non-refundable) from the office of the AT G/Finance & Procurement, Khyber Piklitmikhwa CPO, Khyber Paklitunkhwa, Peshawar on the submission of application on the firra's letter head on any working day during office hours up to 10.01.2014. The offers shall be accepted only with original bidding documents. Photocopies would not be ace epted. TERMS & CONDITIONS:
1 Each bid shall comprise a single sealed package containing two separate envelopes as under: Technical Proposal (Detailed specifications, make, country etc. on the firm's letter head pad along with catalogue, bidding documents, earnest money for respective item). Financial Proposal (Rate of -respective item including all taxes / charges whatsoever as per following form on the firm's letter head pad). s. Unit Price Income Sales Other duties/ Total Unit R. Tax Tax Charges etc Prick Rs. 1. The envelopes should be marked in bold letters as "TECHNICAL PROPOSAL" and "FINANCIAL PROPOSAL: respectively with name of item. 2. Technical proposals will be opened on above mentioned dates at 1000 hrs: while Financial Proposals shall remain (in sealed form) in the custody of the Police Department and would be opened after receipt of the techrtical report in the presence of bidders. 3. The bidders shall submit earnest money with their financial proposals noted against each item in the shape of pay orders / bank. drafts Of any scheduled bank in favour of the Provincial. Police Officer, Govt: of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Police Departtnent Peshawar. In case of non-acceptance of tenders, the earnest money will be refunded after finalization of the tender in case of •acteptanCe of tenders.. 4. In case of acceptance of tenders, the bidders shall deposit a semnity @ 10% of the total value of stores in the form of Call Deposit in the name of the Provincial Police Officer, Govt: Of the Khyber Palditunkhwa, Police Department Pesha war and sign the contract agreement with Police Department. Security shall be refunded as per tennis and conditions of agreement ).quotation. 5. The manufactures must submit documentary evidence that the firm has capability/capacity to manufacture the items being tendered subject to registration as manufacturer with Sales Tax Department. The firms which are authorized as gockiest/agents or dealers of a manufacturer must provide authorization certificate from the manufacturer that he will manufacture the said store on the firm's behalf. The bidders are required to specify make, brand, country of origin and furnish detailed descriptive literature/catalogue etc, along with their offers for respective items. The Items shall be received in office of Director General PCL1. No other destination shall be a,cceptable. Items shall be inspected physically and thereafter operationally tested at the cost of contractor in Peshawar only. Items found not according to the standard specifications, will be rejected at the cost of contractor and may also result in forfeiture of security and black listing of the firth. 8. Rates quoted would be considered only if the same are in Pak Rupees and inclusive of all taxes/duties/charges and inclusive of pacIdng/freight till delivery at Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines, Peshawar stores and shall be valid up to 30.06.2014. 9. Quantities of the advertised itenis may be increased/ decreased as per availability of funds. 10. Dates of tests/trials and demonstrations would be made by the inspection committee constituted by the competent authority. 11. Conditional tender/application will not be entertained 12, All taxes will be deducted as per existing government policy. 13.
