The Government of Pakistan has incorporated the Pakistan Power Park Management Company Limited - the -PPPMCL- - to estabhsh coal and water infrastructure, offshore and onshore, as part of a mega power park of 6.600 MW based on imported coal at Gaddani. District Lasbela. Balochistan. This mega power park is expected to attract multibillion US dollar investments in the next few years to fulfill promise of the current Government to eliminate loadshedding in the country and provide affordable electricity to consumers to revive the economy of the country. Progress on Pakistan Power Park will be overseen by a high level Steering Committee directly under the honourable Prime Minister of Pakistan, The PPPMCL now invites applications from dedicated and self 'driven professionals with relevant qualifications and experience for the following posts: 1. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) 2. Project Director (PD) The above posts are key and lead positions entailing challenging and aggressive activities required to be performed in order to transform the idea of Pakistan Power Park from concept to reality. The CEO and PD will be supported by a team of professionals, experts, and consultants. The ideal candidates shall at least have a degree in Engineering/MBA. At least 15 years' experience of higher level management position is required for the post of CEO; whereas, for the post of PO. an experience of at least 10 years in power sector with major focus on power generation projects is required. Any additional experience related to large infrastructure projects especially coal handling, construction/ operations of jetty capable of accommodating capsize ships, or coal trade will be considered as definite plus for both posts. The applicants should not be over 55 years of age on August 31, 2013. Salary package is negotiable and will be commensurate with the experience and in line with the market.
