GOVERNMENT COLLEGE WOMEN UNIVERSITY, FAISALABAD
Applications on the prescribed forms are invited for admission to the following Degree Programmes for the Academic Year 2013-14 (Morning (Evening) Fall Semester 2013 of the University.
Masters Degree Programmes 2 Year (Morning)
1. Urdu

Eligibility 1. Only female candidates having domicile of Punjab are eligible for admission. 2. The candidates who have passed BA/B.Sc/B.Com or equivalent examination in 2013 and 2012 will be considered for admission for respective programmes. 3. The following shall be eligible to apply for admission: a. Have obtained at least 45% marks in aggregate. b. Have obtained 45% marks in the subject in which admission is being sought (where applicable) 4. The maximum age limit is 28 years on the closing date. a. However age will be relaxed as per University rules, subject to the availability of seats. b. No second masters degree is allowed. 5. Admission on reserved seats will be granted as per University policy (where applicable). 6. Admission is granted strictly on merit in accordance with the criteria laid down by the University. 7. 'No Objection Certificate (NOC) is required from the candidates, who have passed BA/B.Sc/B.Com or equivalent examination from institutions other than GC University, Faisalabad.

Eligibility 1. Only female candidates having domicile of Punjab are eligible for admission. 2. The candidates must have passed MA/M.Sc 4-year education after FA/F.Sc (minimum 130 credit hours) or equivalent degree in the relevant field from an NEC recognized institution with at least 50% marks (under annual system) or 2.5 CGPA (under semester system) will be compulsory for admission to MS/M.Phil programmes. 3. Clearance of GAT (General) test by NTS is pre-requisite.

Prospectus will be available at the Admission Office of the University on payment of As. 5001-. University reserves the right to refuse admission to any candidate without any reason.
Important Note
The details will also be available at information Centre (Phone No. +92-41-9220093), Govt. College Women University, Faisalabad, Pakistan (9 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday). Candidates can also download Admission Form from the University website: wymaphrutectu.pk and attach a bank draft of Rs. SOW- in favor of Treasurer, Govt. College Women University, Faisalabad. The Admission Forms complete in all respects should reach in the Directorate of Advance Studies during office hours till September 16, 2013. For Morning Programmes Besides the open merit, the candidates may apply against the reserved seats i.e. 2% seats for sports, 2% seats for disabled, 2% seats for children of University employees (1% for teaching and 1% for non teaching), 5% seats for FATA/FANA and Balochistan, 2% seats for co-curricular activities and 5% seats for overseas Pakistanis.
