NATIONAL INSURANCE COMPANY LIMITED OWNED BY THE GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER REQUIRED

Applications the invited for the post of Chief Financial Officer (CFO), National Insurance Company Limited (NICE) at Head Office Karachi. NICE is an unlisted public limited company, 100% owned by Federal Government, under the administrative control of Ministry of Commerce (WC) and having its Head Office at Karachi. The Company is committed for providing general insurance services to Federal Government, Provincial Governments and Public Sector Entities.

1. Minimum Required Qualification and Experience: (a) MBA in Corp Finance with at least ten (10) years relevant experience OR (b)A Chartered Accountant or equivalent with at least ten (10) years relevant experience. (c) Candidates having experience of insurance industry will be preferred.

2. Responsibilities: Chief Financial Officer is the Executive Director level position. He / she wi8 report to the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors of NICE. He / the will also be responsible for ensuring that appropriate advice is given to the Board on all financial matters, for keeping proper financial records and accounts, and for maintaining an effective system of internal financial control.

3. Pay Package: NICE Scale Minimum Rs. 300,000/- plus company maintained car, including fuel and Christoffer and other fringe benefits as admissible under NICE rules. Package can be negotiated depending on qualification and experience.

4. Eligibility: will be determined and selection will be finalized as per approved government policy. Only shortlisted applicants will be invited for an interview. The candidate shall not be entitled for any TA/DA while appearing for the interview.

5. No person shall be appointed as Chief Financial officer unless he is a citizen of Pakistan.
