Ability to meet deadlines and work In a Learn Ability to work and communicate effectively with a number of team members (i.e. HO team, Field- Based Team and Project level Staff) Strong W.en and analytical abases in English Strong Computer skits in a windows based environment including word processing, spreadsheets , reserch tools and power point Ability to build and maintain networks.

JOB SUMMARY: Underthe General direction of the head of Aid , assists in the identification and development of development assistance programs at the mission represents DFATD with development partners and counterparts; monitors projects that are part of his or her portfolio; participates in projectsteering committees reports on development results of projects of responsibility; provides current analysis and reporting on major strategic socio- economic and political issues having an impact on the project, identifies and follows up on communications opportunities for projects; participates In muki-donor bra and donor meetings to advance the quality of the donor communities analysis and policy dialogue related to DFATO's interests and sectors°, intervention; supports the Head of Aid aed represents him or heron occasion; and assiststhe aid section as required on operational activities.

Asset Qualification:  Experience analyzing complex geopolitical, economic and social situations, including those involving humanitarian assistance Experience working with donor agencies end/or civil society organizations Experience working on humanitarian assistance and/or maternal, newborn and child health programming Experience designing, planning, managing and appraising large complex bilateral projects Knowledge of the domestic and international priorities of the Canadian government and of the Canadian policy framework pertaining to development assistance Knowledge of cross cutting issues of governance, gender equality and environment Knowledge of issues related to humanitarian assistance and/or matemal, newborn child health (MNCH) Knowledge of French Knowledge of other local languages e g Pashto, Punjabi, Sindhi, Baluchi.
