RECTOR POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
National Textile University is a Federally Chartered Public Sector University imparting education in the fields of textile for almost half a century. The vision of the University is to be ranked among the best multi-disciplinary Universities of the country with flagship textile programs of international standard and become a centre of excellence in textile education and research.

The Board of Governors of the University invites applications for the position of Rector from highly accomplished and strongly motivated academic administrators. The incumbent will be the Chief Executive of the University in all the fields of academics and administration and shall have overall responsibility for the direction, organization and administration of the University in accordance with general policies formulated by the Board.
QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE
Applicants must be Professor having doctorate from a foreign recognized University, preferably in a field of Engineering; attained distinguished leadership in education and academic administration; and have a holistic understanding of issues in higher education at national and international levels, especially in the context of textile will be a major asset. The successful candidate will have an understanding of the broad range of research, scholarship and creative activities associated with a University, vision and knowledge to advance the functions of the University, including human resource development for leadership in society and economic growth.
EMOLUMENT
Competitive market based salary package corresponding to qualification, experience and achievements.
