Auction Notice (Sale of Vehicles)
Sealed Bids are invited for public opening for the sale of the following vehicles on "as is where is basis" at Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF AUCTION
1. The vehicles can be inspected from October 17, 2014 to October 27, 2014 between 1000 hours to 1300 hours at the above premises on the working days.
2. Earnest Money of Rs. 20,000/- for each vehicle in shape of Pay Order/CDR in favor of Ministry of Foreign Affairs shall have to be attached by the prospective bidders for participation in the bidding, which will be refunded after bid opening to unsuccessful bidders.
3. The highest bidder will have to deposit 25% of the bid price in cash at the spot. In case the highest bidder fails to deposit this amount on the spot his earnest money will be forfeited. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs may then allow the second highest bidder to deposit 25% of the bid price at the spot.
4. Delivery to be taken by successful bidder after payment of balance amount within 02 working days. Removal of vehicles will be at bidder's own cost and management.
5. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reserves the right to hold the vehicle over until the next auction if an acceptable bid is not offered. In case of identification of collusion. among bidders (prior to or after bid submission) designed to establish bid prices at artificial. non-competitive levels and to deprive Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the benefits of free and open competition, would lead to rejection of all bids and forfeiture of Earliest Money.
6. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will remain harmless from any and all claims and losses. accruing from or resulting to any and all bidders, materials. laborers and any other persons, in connection with the performance of this public auction.
7. Bids have to be submitted on the prescribed Performa which can be obtained by the interested bidders from the office of the undersigned and can also be downloaded through PPRA website.
8. The Ministry reserves the right to set minimum price of any vehicle.
9. Sealed bids must be delivered on the given address on or before 1200 hours of October 27, 2014. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders' representatives who choose to attend at 1200 hours on October 31, 2014 at Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
10. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reserves the right to accept or reject any offer in line with PPRA's Rules. 11. Non responsive bid shall be rejected.
12. The bids will have to be submitted exclusive of Income Tax (Advance Tax). 13. All government taxes will be applicable and recovered as per rules.
