GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:  1. Applicants are required to submit ONLINE Application Forms by the closing date which is 24-03-2014. Candidate should fill the Online form carefully for which detailed guidelines and instructions have been given on Punjab Public Service Commission's website www.posc.gop.pk. Editing options, to correct any data, will be available to the candidates till 04:00 P.M (office closing time) of last date of submission of online appl ications. 2. Original Treasury receipt of Rs.4001- under head: "CO2101- ORGANIZATIONS OF STATE-EXAMINATION FEE REALIZED BY THE PUNJAB PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION", will be deposited in any branch of State Bank of Pakistan or National Bank of Pakistan or Government Treasury and receipt number will be mentioned in the On-line Application Form. Original receipt will be produced at the time of written test, interview/viva voce, without which candidates will not be allowed to appear in the written test, interview/viva voce. Original Receipt will be retained by PPSC Staff for record purposes. 3. HARD COPY of ONLINEApplication Form isnot needed. 4. Correspondence with candidates will be done through E-mail. Candidates are advised to mention their e-mail addresses in the On-Line Application form. Those who do not have e-mail addresses are advised to create e-mail account immediately. 5. If the number of applicants is higher than 10000 or Post-to-Candidate ratio is more than 1:100, the candidates will be short listed for written test as per Post-to-Candidateratio of 1:50 on academic basis. 6. In case a large number of applications are received, one paper written test, (MCQ type) of 100 marks relating to prescribed qualification and job description of the post will be conducted to shortlist the candidates. Details will be given on PPSC website from where candidates can download their roll numbers and inforrnation about date, time and venues. No candidate will be informed about the date of Writteh Test /Interview individually. If number of applications is lesser than 150; the candidates will be short listed for interview on academic basis without any written test if the Written Test/Examination is not mandatory in the prescribed Service Rules. 8. In case any information provided by the candidate in hislher online application form prove to be incorrect at any stage, he/she will be disqualified and disciplinary action will betaken under therules. 9. The nurnber of posts may be increased or decreased by the Competent Authority only if no date for written examination is fixed and in case when selection is made only on the basis of viva-voce/interview, before finalization of viva-voce/interview. 10. Candidates presently living/residing abroad and having Punjab Domicile mayalsoapply. 11. In case of disabled person, Column 20 of Online application form should be filled in mentioning 'Yes' or 'No'. If the candidate is disabled, helshe will have to submit a certificate from Provincial Council for rehabilitation of disabled persons of Social Welfare Department. 12. Following documents in original along with a set of photocopy will be required if called for interview loioa voce. a) Original Treasury Receipt of fee deposited. b) Matriculation Certificate or in case 01 0' Level, equivalent certificate from Inter Board Committee of Chairmen(IBCC) Islamabad showing totaVobtained marks, date of birth or school leaving certificate showing dateof birth. c) I ntermediate Certificate rik. level along with equivalent qualification. d) Degree / Detailed marks of Bachelor from a recognized University duly issued by the Controller of Examinations showing total / obtained marks and pementage. e) Degree / Detailed marks of Bachelor, B.Com and M.Com from a recognized University duly issued by Controller of Examinations showing total/obtained marks and percentage. 0 Degree / Detailed marks of Bachelor and Master Degree (2nd Division) in Journalism or Political Science or Urdu Literature or English Literature from a recognized University duly issued by Controller of Examinations showing total / obtained marks and percentage. Degree / Detailed marks of MBBS or equivalent qualifications recognized by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council and registered with the said Council from a recognized University duly issued by Controller of Examinations showing total / obtained marks and percentage. h) Degree / Detailed marks of B.Sc Engineering from a recognized University duly issued by Controller of Examinations showing total / obtained marks and percentage. Valid Registration from Pakistan Engineering Council. Degree / Detailed marks of MBBS or equivalent qualifications recognized by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council and registered with the said Council. k) MS or FOPS in Gynaecology or post-graduate qualification like DGO/MCPS in Gynaecology or other equivalent qualifications recognized by the PMDC with two years practical experience in the relevant subject before or after post-graduation. I) Degree/ Detailed marks of MBBS with D.Sc or Ph.D or M.Phil or FCPS or MS (two years duration) in the relevant subject duly issued by Controller of Examinations showing total / obtained marks and percentage or other qualifications recognized by the PMDC. m) Degree / Detailed marks of MBBS or M.Sc in the relevant subject with post-graduate qualifications like D.0 Path duly issued by Controller of Examinations showing total / obtained marks and percentage or other qualifications recognized by PMDC with two years practical experience in the relevant subject before or after post-graduation. n) Valid Registration certificate from Pakistan Medical and Dental Council. o) B.A/LL.B Degrees / Detailed marks certificate duly issued by the Controllerof Examinations. m) Domicile certificate of relevant district of Province of Punjab issued on or before the closing date. p) In case of Government Servant, Departmental Perrnission Certificate (available on PPSC website) duly signed and stamped by the competent authority of concerned Department. Disability certificate, if "Yes. in Column 20 of Online Application Form has been ticked. 0 Original Valid C.N.I.C. s) Passport size photograph. I) Foreign qualification(s) must be recognized by the HEC and declared equivalent by the Q.E.D.0 of the concerned department. Important Note: Candidates will be admitted to the written test (f held) provisionally. On detailed scrutiny of applications of candidates declared successful in written test, if any candidate is found ineligible in any respect under rules, his/her candidature will be cancelled regardless of the fact whether he / she appeared in the written test or qualified therein.
