FINAL SHOW CAUSE NOTICE
Whereas, you Mr. Arsalan Tahir Ghaznavi, Deputy Manager Port Operation Division, TCP, Karachi are alleged to have committed the following acts of misconduct:-
(I)
You were granted ex-Pakistan leave for 2 years w.e.f. 16-01-2012 vide office order No. TCP (HR)/ 18-319/2011 dated 04-09-2012 and were expected to join duties on 16-01-2014. (ii) You were issued a Show Cause Notice on 22-01-2014 to explain the reasons within 7 days for your unauthorized absence from duty from 16-01-2014 onwards but instead of reply to show cause notice. TCP received an application on 29-01-2014 without signature and date for seeking extension in ex-Pakistan leave for another two years. (iii) Your request for extension in ex-Pakistan leave was regretted by the Management, being not covered under the rules and a Notice dated 12-02-2014 was issued on your home address at Lahore through R.O. Lahore as well as courier service to join your duty within 7 days but you failed to join your duty. (iv) Whereas, the above factual position prima facie reveals that you are found guilty of gross negligence in attending to your duties and ignoring official orders which is tantamount to misconduct in terms of TCP Employees (Efficiency & Discipline) Rules of 1975 and calls for imposition of major penalty of your dismissal from the services.
2. You are finally directed with approval of the Competent Authority through this "Final Show Cause Notice" to report for duty immediately and submit your written reply within 15 1 days of the issuance of this notice, otherwise an ex-parte 1 decision will be taken and you will be dismissed from the
service of TC P.
