Procurement of Steel Reinforcement Bars and Ordinary Portland Cement (Owner Furnished Materials) for EOBI Five Star Hotel Project (Serena Hotel—Lahore) on Plot # B, Survey 131/A near Rangers Head Quarter, Lahore Cant Lahore.
On behalf of Employees' Old Age Benefits Institution (E0B1)-the Principale, Pakistan Real Estate Investment & Management Company (Pvt.) Limited- the Agent PRIMACO (Awholly Owned Subsidiary of EOBI) intends to procure Steel Reinforcement & Ordinary Portland Cement from renowned manufacturer's or their approved suppliers for the Construction of EOBI Five Star Hotel (Serena Hotel — Lahore) Project on Plot # B, Survey 131/A near Rangers Head Quarter, Lahore Cantt. Lahore.
Sealed bids in response of bidding documents (separate sealed bids for Steel Reinforcement & Ordinary Portland Cement) are invited from renowned manufacturer's or their approved suppliers for aforesaid project. Sealed bids for Steel Reinforcement & Ordinary Portland Cement shall be accompanied with bid security of lumpsum amount Rs. 1,000,000/- and Rs. 1,500,000/- respectively in shape of Pay-order/Demand-Draft in favor PRIMACO. Bidding documents (separate bidding documents for Steel reinforcement & Ordinary Portland Cement) can be collected from office of undersigned without any cost against respective request in writing from February 7th, 2014 till before the day of sealed bids submission. Sealed bids from renowned manufacturer's / approved suppliers pertaining to Reinforcement Steel and Ordinary Portland Cement in response of bidding documents shall be submitted to office of Chief Executive Officer PRIMACO on or before February 22", 2014 at 1100 Hours. The received sealed bids shall be opened on same day at 1145 hours in presence of bidders who chose to present at address mentioned below. Bids submitted after due date and time shall not entertained/considered.
The estimated required quantity of steel reinforcement is about 1,000 Metric Tons (miscellaneous bar sizes with standard bar length as per bidding documents) and Ordinary Portland Cement is about 17,500 Metric Tons (350,000 bags) in accordance with Bill of Quantities, Specifications, Timeframe and Terms & Conditions provided in respective bidding documents. PRIMACO/EOBI has the right to accepts/reject any or all bids in provision of relevant public procurement rules-2004.
