EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS
COMMERCIAL The candidate should be:  A Master Mariner holding 1st Class Certificate of Competency with command experience on foreign going ships. Minimum 20 years shore based experience in Commercial Operations including Chartering, Fleet Management. Liner Business. Tankers. NVOCC and Container trade with at least 5 years of experience as Head of Commercial Division of a large Ship Owning Company 4 Comprehensive knowledge of liner conferences. Minimum 5 years foreign working experience. * Membership of Professional Bodies, International Classification Societies Technical Committees / Maritime Institutes would be preferred. SHIP MANAGEMENT The candidate should be: 4 A Marine Engineer holding 1st Class Certificate of Competency with sailing experience as Chief Engineer on Foreign going Ships. • Holding Masters Degree in Shipping Management from a recognized university 4 Foreign qualification from a reputable institute will be an added advantage. mio Minimum 20 years of shore based experience in Ship Management including Repairs. Maintenance. Dry Docking, Procurement of Ship Stores/Spares and Ship Personnel in a large national or multinational organization with 5 years in senior position. 4 Membership of Professional Bodies, International Classification Societies Technical Committees / Maritime Institutes would be preferred. FINANCE The candidate should be: 4 A Chartered Accountant (FCA) having more than 15 years experience of handling accounting and finance function with at least 5 years in a public sector enterprise having total assets of five billion rupees or more, at senior levels. Excellent in commercial communication and interpersonal skills, and should be able to demonstrate good analytical and administrative abilities. * Conversant with the accounting and finance function of a shipping company with specific knowledge of ship financing. 4 Computer literate. Having ability to handle corporate affairs. Appointment will be on contract, initially for a period of two years extendable with mutual consent. Selected candidates will be offered market-based remuneration package. commensurate with qualifications and experience.
