NOTICE INVITING TENDER
Sealed tenders based on item rates/percentage above or below on approved estimated (DN1T) amount are hereby invited, for the works mentioned below from the Contractors/Firms enlisted /renewed with Communication & Works Department for the current financial year in the field of Highways / Bridges. Tender documents can be obtained from the date of publication of invitation to Bids in the News Paper from any of the below mentioned offices, upon written request accompanied with attested copies of enlistment/up to date renewal letter, PEC License, Identity Card of Contractor / Managing Partner / Director of the firm along with registered power of attorney and on payment of prescribed tender fee in the form of CDR/Bank Draft/Cashier's Cheque of any scheduled Bank. 1. Chief Engineer (North) Punjab, Highway Department, Lahore. 2. The Commissioner, Lahore Division, Lahore. 3. Superintending Engineer, Provincial Highway Circle, (Road Research & Material Testing Institute, Lahore. 4. The District Coordination Officer, Sheikhupura/Nankana Sahib. 5. Executive Engineer, Provincial Road, Construction Division, Lahore. 6. Assistant Commissioner, (Sheikhupura/Nankana Sahib).
Tender rates and amounts should be filled in figures as well as in words & tenders should be signed as per general directions given in the tender documents. No rebate on tendered rates will be acceptable. Tenders will be received in the offices of Chief Engineer (North) Punjab Highway Department, 2-Lake Road Lahore & Commissioner Lahore Division, Lahore and will be opened simultaneously on fixed date and time by the respective Tenders Opening Committee at the above venues in the presence of intending contractor's or their representatives who opt to be present. Conditional tenders and tenders not accompanied with earnest money @ 2% of the estimated cost in shape of CDR/Bank Drafts/cashier's cheque of any scheduled Bank and attested copies of reg'stered partnership deed and power of attorney in case of firm will not be entertained.
