PRE-QUALIFICATION NOTICE
Applications are invited from reputed / specialized firms I contractors, who are on the approved list of Punjab (UM) Department in the category of "Road Works" and have got their named registered and renewed with the Pakistan Engineering Council and Secretary to Government of the Punjab, Communication 8: Works Department in relevant category and field of specialization for the year 201314 for pre-qualification for tendering of following works.

Widening / Improvement of road from Darbu Muhammad Ghous to Sherkay Zarain via Chak 10/GD, Khola, Lasharian Length .= 18.00 Knis in District Okara (Section Darbar Muhammad Ghous to Lasharian Length: 10,60 Km in District Okara Rs.74.200 Million 8. W/I of remaining portion of Road from Chowk Shaheeclan to Bharpoora Chowk Length = 8.00 Km Tehsil Depalpur District Okara :. Rs.77.188 Million
The interested firms are required to submit the following information / documents duly page marked & indexed to the office of the Provincial Highway Circle Sahiwal on or before 27-014014. 1. Name / Full address & partnership deed of the contractor / firm with power of Attorney in favour of person authorized. 2. Year of establishment supported by certificate from the registrar of firms 3. Name and particulars of specialist firm to be associated. 4. List of cases pending in arbitration / litigation, if any. 5. Certificate of registration from Pakistan Engineering Council Islamabad in the relevant category & field of specialization. 6. Copy of enlistment / renewal for the year 2013-2014 with C&W Department. 7. List of complete permanent business, management, finance management and engineering / technical staff with their complete bio-data and proof of stay with the firm. 8. List of equipment with its No. make / model, condition and location alongwith proof of its ownership. 9. Detail of similar projects completed by the contractor / firm giving location, approximate cost, time taken for completion duly supported With a certificate from the client department. 10. List of projects handled during last three years giving their location, approximate cost, time allowed / taken dully supported with a certificate from client department. .11. Performance certificates from the Executive Engineer/ Client under whom the work have been executed during last three years. 12. Detail of work in hand indicating name of Client Department, consultant scope of works. 13. Authentic proof their financial position such as bank statement of the previous one year. 14. Total assets, working capital and liabilities duly certified. 15. Income Tax registration certificate. 16. Any further particulars the firm desire to furnish. 17. Concealment of facts will be sufficient case for disqualification of the firm as well as for prosecution. 18. No judicial relief will be sought against the decision of he prequalification committee / authority and the decision of the committee / authority will be final and conclusive. 19. The prequalification committee reserves the right to pre-qualify or reject any or all the applications without assigning any reason and the decision of the committee / authority shall not be challengeable in any form including the court of law. 20. Any further information / detail in this connection may be had from undersigned on any working day. 21. The prequalification application shall be evaluated on the basis of Punjab Planning dr Development criteria for pre-qualification. Other related information required in this regard should also be provided. 22. Only pre-qualified firms will be invited to submit tenders. 23. A certification / undertaking is to be offered by the intending applicants that they have read the pre-qualification notice and will abide by the terms and conditions indicated in the notice with the same spirit as has been notified by the client Department. Note: Ownership of Asphalt plant for project at Sr. No.4k5 alongwith concerned Machinery should be available, otherwise, application for pre-qualification may be reject.
