NAME OF POST WITH BPS & NUMBER OF POSTS Director General (Research) (BS-20) (01 Post) QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & AGE PRESCRIBED FOR THE POST Qualification: Ph.D in Law or relevant Social Science preferably in Political Science, Sociology, Finance, International and Strategic Affairs, Development Economics, Library and Information Science, Business Administration or Public Administration. OR Specified professional experience of at least 10 years with M. PhiVLL.M degree or equivalent foreign degree or 15 years of such experience with first class Master's degree or foreign equivalent in error more of the above disciplines. E,perce: i. Minimum five years professional research experience in the relevant field preferably Law/ Legislative/ Legal drafting; ii. Knowledge of modern library practices, managing computerized information system and reputable publishing credits; iii. Research articles published in recognized journals; iv. Deputy Director (Translation) (BS-18) (01 Post) Qualification: i) 1st Class Master degree in English or M.S, M.Phil i.e. 18-years study in Education from any HEC University mainly in English or Urdu, Economics, or Political Science, or Sociology, or Linguistics, or History and or International Affairs having extensive academic research /study in Socio-economic and legal issues of Pakistan; ii) Dexterity / command over both languages of English and Urdu in analytical and creative expression; iii) Publication of Research papers or articles in the leading national dailies; Experience, 05 years experience of translation work from Urdu to English and vice versa would be preferred. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO NOTE:  i) 01 150 overall position, 10% are reserved for women, 5% for minorities and 2% for disabled persons. ii) Other than the leave vacancy, posts will be filled on regular basis, with a probation period of two years.
