TECHNICAL PRE-QUALIFICATION OF TV TRANSMITTERS
Ply intends to pre-qualify manufaclurerstuppliers and their local agents for procurement of Analog TV transmitter abng with accessories. Tender documents bearing tedmkal specifications, ist of accessories and terms & conditions can be collected from the office of the undersigned endows loaded from PTV's & PPRA Web sites. Following terms and conditions shall apply.- a) All iterns of equipment required shall be operable on TV standard CCIR PAL BIG colour Video System and operable on 230Vt 10,, 501-t or 4VOre 3801400± 10%, 50H. b) Compliance remarks against each feature/specification supported by original technical brochure of the equipments are required lobe attached. c) Tender received without compliance report and technical brochures (system explaining through block diagram) shall not be acceptable. d) Manufacturers/firms are required to submit their own & manufacturer or Principal's Company profile, along with valid Agency Certificate. e) No prices shall be quoted at this stage. f) Only technically pre-qualified parties shall be asked to quote prices at a later stage on CPT basis. g) List of clients (in country and out of country) to whom transmitters have been supplied in the near past may be provided. h) All interested bidders shall submit their proposals latest by 19th February, 2014 up to 11AM in sealed envelopes clearly marked with 'Technical Pre-qualification for TV Transmitters" addressed to Chairman Sr. Tender Committee (ControllerAudit) Office, PTV-Headquarters, Constitution Avenue, Islamabad. Tenders wit be opened at 11:30AM same day in the office of Chairrnan Senior Tender Committee. i) Late receipts of Tender will not be entertained. j) PIV reserves the right to accept or reject any or all technical quotations/proposals without assigning any reasons what so ever. PTV also reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantities of the items.
