2 Tender forms and BOQ can be downloaded from now one day prior to opening of the tender from PHA Website a the following The following documents shall accompany the bid in documents: a Photocopy of updated renewal of registration in PHA. b Photocopy of registration with Pakistan Engineering Council of the requisite Category valid upt81112/20 13. c For Package & 2 only those Contractors/Firms can participate who have their own asphalt Plant installed Peshawar. For asphalt owners PHA registration is n mandatory. However in case of lowest bidder the firm w have to deposit PHA registration fee. d In case of a registered company the Managing Director Authorized Director/ Authorized Persons & in case of Sol proprietor in Form-H (Partnership Deed), the person wh name exists in formll will only be entitled to sign the Tende Form, BOQ and all other contract documents. No proxy w be allowed. e Cost of Tender Form/Documents as mentioned ahoy payable through Demand Draft or Pay Order non-refundable) in the name of Director General Provinci Housing Authority, Peshawar f Photocopy of National Identity Card of contact Authorized rep: signing the biding documents. g 2% Earnest Money as mentioned against the work shall be received in the shape of Call Deposit from a schedule bank in the name of DG PHA which shall accompany the tend documents. h The bid less than 10% below the Engineer's Estimate will not be considered and rejected. The bidders who offer bi on the Engineer's Estimate to extent of10% below the PC-I cost will deposit 8% additional Security in shape of call deposit in the name of Director General PHA with ii 3(three) days of the opening of bids. In case of failure of bidder to deposit the additional sum by the due date. the 2.4 earnest money already deposited by him will be forfeited in favor of Government & the 2n lowest bidder (& so on), will be considered for bid and th defaulting bidders will be recommended for black listing addition to forfeiture of their earnest money i Sealed bids sent through registered Mail/ Courier shoul reach upto 12.00 Noon on dated: 20-02-20 14, Bids will be opened at 12:30 PM on dated: 20-02-2014,in presence of bidders/ their representative. The delay in delivery of t e Tender Documents will be responsibility of the bidders The bidders are required to send their bids in duplicate i separate envelopes clearly marked as Original and Duplicate . The original shall be sent to the Deputy Director Technical Provincial Housing Authority Peshawar and the Duplicate to Director Technical Provincial Housing Authority Peshawar. k Bidding shall be done on " Item Rate System ". Bidders should fill their own rates/ amount in the blank colum against each item of the BOQ. In case no rate is filled against any item, the same will have to be executed by the contract free of cost as per specification . First 2 Decimal digits will b considered for evaluation. i Tender and copy of Call Deposits received through Fax o by Hand will not be acceptable. m The Competent Authority reserves the right to reject a one or all the tender without assigning any reason.
